Hitake wallked through the bustling town centre, his wounds had been healed yesterday, and he had been desperate to get out of the house ever since, he was unable to go outside yesterday, as the healing of his wounds had drained him and left him tired, it had been unexpectedly painful, but in the end worthit, his back was left scarless and smooth, and his joints and muscles were knitted back together. He was glad to be out, the breeze was welcomed, and he had taken several deep breaths of the purified mountain air when he first stepped outside.
"Hey Hitake you'ight?"
One of the villagers had shouted as he walked passed, Hitake replied with a quick grunt, it had been the thirteenth village to ask him that question since he stepped foot outside his house, which was only a couple minutes ago. At first he had gotten into long chats with them assuring them that he was fine, but now, he just couldn't be bothered. Hitake was sure of it, he wasn't a people person, especially since he hardly knew the villagers who were talking to him. He knew why they were doing it, because they had heard about what he done, and felt guilty for not being able to do it themselves, but most of all wanted to thank him. If it was one thing Hitake hated most, it was being thanked. Why couldn't people understand that some things just go without saying?
Hitake drifted out of his thoughts as he began to eat a donut that he had recently brought, the donut was mounted on a stick, and he was able to choose from various toppings, from which he chose Vanilla icecream, caramel hazelnuts and coconut sprinkles. He didn't know why but he was fond of the combination of sweetness and crucnhyness. He soon devoured the delicious concotion, whiping the tip of his nose with the back of his hand to get rid of the icecream that had planted itself on his nose as he was eating. The icecream was cold to the touch, but felt refreshing as it melted away on his hand.
Hitake didn't know why, but strangely, he had walked all the way to the edge of the town, facing the woods that spanned for miles. As he was about to enter the woods, a voiced pierced through into the silence.
" Hitake! Hitake! Your alright!"
Hitake soon realised it was Hanuro as he turned around, to his suprise he saw Hanuro leaping through the air towards him, wrapping his hands around Hitake's neck as he did so, almost strangling him. Hitake staggered under the weight, but soon regained his balance.
"Hey Hanuro, of course i'm alright, you can let go of me now you know."
Hitake said in a calm and collected voice so as to prevent Hanuro from worrying.
"Oh sorry, Hitake the way you beat those bad guys up was amazing! Please please please teach me."
Sqeauled Hanuro.
"Heh maybe another time, Okay? Oh and hows Gekko? Is he holding up alright?"
Hitake asked.
"Gekko's fine Hitake, the vet took good care of him, and i gave him lots of his favourite food!"
"Good, good, well maybe you should go check on him again? Just to be sure?"
Disapointment flashed across Hanuro's face, he had clearly wanted to go with Hitake into the woods, Hitake became afraid that he would insist on doing so. However Hitake couldn't allow it, he needed to be on his own for a while, just to think....clear his mind.
"Oh right, Okay"
Hitake flushed with relief as Hanuro raced back towards the village, as he did so, Hitake turned around and began again on his treck, as he navigated through the woods, he eventually came across it. The dark sector that is, he walked through the omnious woods searching for where he had found Lucy that day. Hitake hadn't thought about it much, but his conversation with Hanuro had reminded him of what had happened in his fight with the rogues, again the question pounded through his head, who was Lucy?
Hitake gasped, what he looked upon was the same strange goop, but next to it was none other than Lucy, how did she manage to find her way here? She had clearly shown no evidence of remembering this place, so how?
"Hey Lucy"
Hitake said, anxious to question her.
"Oh Hitake"
Hitake began to walk closer, as he did so he asked.
"How did you manage to get here?"
To which lucy replied
"I dont know, i just felt like, like i was being drawn here."
A slight tone of curiosity and marvel appearing in her voice as she spoke.
"Hitake, was...was i in this?"
Hitake wondered if he should reply, but soon decided it would be best to do so.
"Yeah, do you know what it is?"
"No... i don't have a clue, do you?"

"No, Lucy...Who are you...?"
