Then why was Kaguya able to use gentle fist techniques? Also, that we don't know how the moon clan fought or used their Byakugan in battle. Toneri had no eyes since a young age, so his fighting style didn't depend on the Byakugan.
We also don't know the limits of Byakugan. I doubt gentle fist is the only formidable ability of the Byakugan. You're still limiting Byakugan to the Hyuga.
This is just your way to limit the Byakugan in order to keep it from having greater potential. It's the same with the Uchiha. The stronger the user was, the greater their eye power became. Although to reach their highest potential they needed an external to achieve greater power and that's why Madara wanted the power of the Ootsutsuki clan. They are the strongest beings when it came to vessels.

This conversation actually getting old let's explain hogorama and hamaru we're brothers Indra was the forefather of the Uchiha which is half of hogorama power the hypha are descendants of hamaru full chakra. In part 1 sasuke was no match for neji in chunin exams after he got curse mark power ups etc... well he was op that and every other uchiaha we encounter has ms etc.... now the story is highlighting the hugs clan we will be able to see what they can do and what power ups they get it don't matter who stronger you just want it to be you fav but guess what it's a anime/manga wait and enjoy it don't matter they are just pixels

To be fair...the 5 Kage were low on Chakra when Ps appeared and Madara had unlimited Chakra rgeneration and Hashirama's Dna.
Onoki should be able to handle ps with weighted rock technique followed by a Jinton beam directly through the forehead and Madara)

2. No, Obito would not be dead. Izanagi does not require Hashirama cells. Obito planned the whole War, he only adjusted for Kabuto's battle power. He had Rinnegan. He necessarily did not need Hashirama cells.

Hashirama's cells boost life-force and even then Obito could only handle 1 Rinnegan and Hashirama's cells were needed to keep Juubi under control.
Hashirama cells (Asura Chakra) + Madara cells (Indra Chakra) = Rinnegan
