The problem is that there are 3 clans that uses the byakugan, so if someone compares the byakugan with the sharingan, it can't only be limited to the Hyuga clan. Otherwise they should just straight up compare the Uchiha with the Hyuga, not the Byakugan specifically.

Who knows, the Hyuga might be the weakest Byakugan users, while the Ootsutsuki's moon clan and the god clan have a higher level of mastery, that's why it's stupid to limit Byakugan to the Hyuga clan only, when we don't even know how the other two clans used Byakugan.

An eye is only as strong as the user itself, that's why a stronger user will definitely have a stronger feat with their Byakugan. Kaguya is also a Byakugan user, so I don't know why her Gentle Fist feat is being ignored.

Make it clear if this is about the Byakugan vs. Sharingan or just the Hyuga vs. Uchiha. Otherwise we'll never know the limits of Byakugan unless the strongest user shows us the limits it possesses.

I doubt the Hyuga was a warring clan like the Uchiha and the Senju, so I doubt they'd make a name for themseves on the battlefield. To me they look more like a secluded clan that only retaliated once their clan was targeted and then joined the leaf village for more protection.

EDIT: They are a noble clan after all.

Even so, the only clan that could challenge the Uchiha were the Senju.

Then why was Kaguya able to use gentle fist techniques? Also, that we don't know how the moon clan fought or used their Byakugan in battle. Toneri had no eyes since a young age, so his fighting style didn't depend on the Byakugan.

We also don't know the limits of Byakugan. I doubt gentle fist is the only formidable ability of the Byakugan. You're still limiting Byakugan to the Hyuga.

This is just your way to limit the Byakugan in order to keep it from having greater potential. It's the same with the Uchiha. The stronger the user was, the greater their eye power became. Although to reach their highest potential they needed an external to achieve greater power and that's why Madara wanted the power of the Ootsutsuki clan. They are the strongest beings when it came to vessels.

To be fair...the 5 Kage were low on Chakra when Ps appeared and Madara had unlimited Chakra rgeneration and Hashirama's Dna.

Onoki should be able to handle ps with weighted rock technique followed by a Jinton beam directly through the forehead and Madara)
