just asking?...
i used to see the plausibility of this theory a while back before i entered med school...

but one look at the human body and i seriously doubt that.....that human body is one of the greatest complexity in life, how we, talk, feel, the way our bodies react to cold, heat, pain, how blood works, how organs work, how the brain controls all processes in the body, how antibodies fight diseases and all..... and how every process in the body is connected in one form or the other

it all looks to me like some sort of crazy design, like a genius programmer sat down to do some sort of homework and invented the human. do you really believe that humans are an accident of nature? that a very large explosion happened and life was formed?.. i seriously doubt

not just humans, every animal is like that, though like i said humans are the greatest wonder...
what do you think

The Universe came to be because I said so.

It all happened over millions of years. Evolution has made humans the way they are now. Scientists and people who work with these things have tested all kinds of animals, and they even managed to make insects evolve within a year under certain circumstances. It's not that special. Our body was made the way it is because it need to be the way it is. Our bodies, and our instincts, make sure we and our offsprings can survive.

I personally believe in the theory of the Big Bang.

our whole universe was in a hot dense state when nearly 14 million years ago expansion started...

the problem is the human mind cant understand the meaning of such a huge number such as BILLIONS OF YEARS! evolution alone took like 3 billion years to form the life existing now...thats a hell lot of time for stuff to happen by chance simply because of certain circumstances...in that amout of time pretty much every circumstance has happened thus creating life. thats why its also plausible to say that earth isnt the only place where this happened.

Fun facts: The Big Bang Theory was invented by a Catholic priest, and Einstein thought the theory was ridiculous.

I shit you not.

Why wouldn't you? Evolution and the big bang are theories supported by nearly as many facts as the theory of gravity.

Think about it this way, the universe is 1x10^1000000000000000000000000 times bigger than the earth. It's statistically impossible for the correct series of chemical reactions needed to create us and this planet not to happen.

Building blocks don't build themselves. If something looks designed, and if it's complex, it doesn't take a horde of scientists to prove to me (with peer reviewed papers) that it didn't make itself that way with no outside direction and intelligence.

I don't know many things that are the product of random processes that “appear to be designed” They may appear to be DESTROYED, but certainly not designed.Random does not design, does not fit, does not hold.Random only make porridge.Univers and life can't be set randomly.

I agree with you. The human genetic make up is so complex that for it to be a random occurrence is just BS. I also feels that goes for God too. I know he is the all powerful one etc. But from what the bible states of Jesus, God and the holy spirit being around the beginning of time(or isn't in the boundaries of time) just randomly said hey lets create humans out of nowhere is ridiculous. I believe in science and religion. Science and Religion can go hand in hand if humans wasn't so simply minded or takes the scripture way too literal. Maybe God had a plan and started from the ground up and simply didn't make us out of thin air(Or the Bible's way).B.I.B.L.E Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. PS. I believe that the mind and body can evolve but I don't believe it evolved from Apes. And if so why aren't we still evolving(physical traits of something new) Our mind is but not our bodies in over 5000 or more years. And if we evolved from apes, why aren't the current apes still not evolving? Only when you die then you shall see.

nowhere does the big bang theory and evolution of man correlate

they are not related and it does not explain the creation of man

.... the big bang created the universe, man evolved IN the universe. They're not related?

Sure. At first glance.
Then you realize that a magical particle burst forth from nothing and created an entire universe.

I'm agnostic, so I'm not defending Christianity. Just sayin'.

Also, in response to the OP, the BBT wasn't actually an explosion.
