It's not a theory it's a question. I'm asking how Nagato got the rinnegan when he recieved Madaras original eyes which weren't transformed into the rinnegan until after they were in Nagato's body, that's all.

When Madara says original eyes, it means Izuna eyes.

Uchiha's powers come from the the brain, that is where Idara's chakra came from.

Look at Sasuke, he has his brothers eyes and yet Idara's chakra still resident inside him.

So I'll repeat myself, inside the scan Madara has the rinnegan at an old age.

There is no correlation between Uzamaki and the rinnegan, even Hyuuga has a better chance of being related to the rinnegan.

Once your eyes lose sight, they can't be used anymore unless you have Hashirama's chakra.

I know that there isn't a correlation between Uzumaki and the Rinnegan, rather the Rinnegan is the result of Asura and Indra's chakra. That was the basis behind the question. I thought that Madara gave Nagato his eyes, not Izuna's (which were the rinnegan).

Under that impression, I asked how Nagato got the Rinnegan when he had neither Asura's chakra, nor Indra's. I thought he had Madara's "birth" eyes, which weren't the rinnegan, so I was confused on how he got the rinnegan.

Not necessarily true. Hashirama was a reincarnation (still can't get over this), so there may still be a part of Ashura's chakra in there. This makes it possible for Sasuke to get the rinnnegan. That being said, if Naruto and Sasuke merger their chakras, both will get the rinnegan.


The whole, chakras thing makes it clear why Neither Nagato nor Obito could fully utilize the rinnegan's full strength. It's because neither of them are reincarnations, therefore, they have less of the key to Hagoromo's power.
