[Discussion] Why is Kakashi the (Rokudaime) 6th Hokage?

I want to hear your opinion! Not just Tsunade was old and she stepped down. In that case Naruto should be the one! But why Kakashi instead? Note that he doesn't have powers anymore... I'd like to hear the logical reasons.. share your thoughts

- Kakashi knows how light and darkness run in village since he was little he suffered the most lost his mother,father.
-lost his comrades and his sensei and and he had to kill his own comrade he must have suffered a lot .

Another thing you have forgotten he was known Copy Ninja Kakashi the one who learned Thousand Techniques . So basically he already knows all this Techniques and Kishi no fool to make him Hokage without him showing his other powers .

-You might ask why didn't he show in War?

Simple he had to deal with Bijuus and Obito ,Madara who were Sharingan Expert.

Intelligence: He is more reliable than Tsunade and he knows how to risk his life in danger . Considering Tsunade made blunder by not assigning a Jounin to retrive Sasuke which could have killed them if kakashi didn't act on time .

Why Naruto didn't become Sixth Hokage ?

We already know that Naruto still needs to grow up and he is not really ready to handle adult matters and Darkness of Village.

Kakashi is better suited for the position. Naruto still has a child like mentality and would be an poor Hokage. Kakashi meets literally every criteria there is for it and Naruto is a long, long way from it.

Because he was always worthy of that title and deserved it even more after Pain's invasion...

It's not his MS or Kamui that made him a candidate, he himself was Hokage-material since day 1...

Kakashi sucks. Here is a good argument why. Don't agree with the Zabuza part.

What I am going to say, is that Kakashi is quite possibly the worst choice for Hokage that could be made.
Seriously, he sucks. Just look at his performance as a teacher.
He had three students, all of whom were immensely talented... and under him, they struggled for the barest amount of progress. Under other teachers, their powerlevel increased outrageously fast. Yes, even Sakura (she's got a lot of talent, her problem is her personality). Kakashi can't teach worth shit.

Similarly, Kakashi cannot command worth shit either. Does he ever sit down and give orders, does he ever make a battle plan to tackle his opponents? No, he's even more straight forward than Naruto. In the Wave Mission, he didn't even think of hunting down and assassinating Zabuza while he was down for the count. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura I can excuse, they were more worried with just surviving a possible confrontation with Zabuza. Kakashi, however, should've known better than allowing the enemy to set up an ambush.

Kakashi sucks, both as a teacher and as a commander. Just about the only thing he can do right is fight, and even that is shot now, because he no longer has a Sharingan and, guess what? He depended on it massively before. He was defeated by Zabuza while using it. Kakashi's not S rank even with the Mangekyo, if he'd fought one on one against any of the Akatsuki he would've been wtfstomped, he probably doesn't even make A rank without it. He's gonna be the most laughably weak Kage in history.

All in all, Kakashi is a terrible choice for Hokage, and it's for reasons other than his just showing up three hours late to everything. Incidentally, that's another strike against him.

I'm not kidding when I say that goddamn Sakura is a better choice for Hokage... Actually, she might be a great choice for Hokage, come to think of it. Sakura is strong enough to hold her own if she needs to, but wouldn't really need to since it'd be very, very easy to convince Naruto to be her bodyguard full time. She's got a great memory and she's explicitly good with encyclopedic knowledge. She's got issues, yes, but nothing that her finally maturing into an adult wouldn't fix, including her temper.

If Sakura could stop being a little girl with a crush on Sasuke, she could probably make for a far better Hokage than Tsunade, Naruto or Kakashi could ever be.

True but that doesn't defeat my statement. Just because he's wiser than naruto doesn't mean naruto isn't wise. Naruto has shown to bring change in a good way and he also has shown how to handle difficult situations.

I Have provided a scan of a man who is considered a God parsing kakashi's leadership skills and stating without them Kaguya wouldn't of been defeated.

- Wow only those two things. He didn't teach Naruto wind release until YEARS later and didn't help Sakura develop her skills at all. In part 1 only focused on Sasuke. Shit teacher.

And I already pointed that plan was horrible and only worked because Kishi nerfed Kaguya.

Kakashi has a better resume. He was a jounin at a young age, was in Black ops for years, is one of the most elite jounin Konoha has, and he has much more leadership skills hence why he was a General throughout the war.

Naruto saved the world...

Kishimoto needs to mature Naruto in other ways (than technique) before he is ready to be hokage. Tsunade is probably exhausted and needed as a healer after the war. She did not want to be hokage in the first place, so it makes sense that she would retire like the 3rd hokage did.

Kakashi was already selected as hokage pro tem once before, pending confirmation. It makes perfect sense that he would take over from Tsunade until Naruto is ready, maybe even mentor Naruto (continue to be his sensei in essence).

It also fits with the whole Obito thing from a story continuity perspective.
