Sokka only has a 5 year gap with Toph. Tenzin and Lin aren't related in any way. There's no incest anywhere.

If Sokka was Lin's dad and Tenzin was Katara's mom, than they would be related as cousins. Not that I believe that's the case.

tenzin is aang and katars son sokka is katars brother making sokka tenzins uncle and if toph and sokka were to have lin then lin and tenzin would be cousins :| because sokka is tenzins uncle and if sokka were also lins father then yes its incest O_O
well katara also became the waterbending master and part of the white lotus put in protection of the future avatars...so i would say thats a pretty high and important position...
the series hasnt shown yet toph's husband, sokka's wife and fire lord zuko and his marriage to may/mei(gloomy girl).....so its completely possible that sokka married suki, and zuko married may.....why do ppl talk about Toph x Sokka?
maybe the offsprings of these characters will be seen in the second season or even in this season before the end......plus in the season finale trailer, the narrator says "this maybe the final time they face off"...keyword is maybe.....so i think amon takes over world, korra escapes and face off with amon in 2nd season end...i think it will be a waste if korra overpowers amon right now...she should get airbending and the avatar state control(with chakra) before she fights him....
also what happened to katar's other kids, bhumi or someone? they have to play a part somewhere right?
i forgot to mention the 1st thing that was on my mind----i just saw the original avatar finale, and all episodes where amon takes away bending, if u see carefully aang touches one point on forehead and one point on the front of the chest(near sternum) whereas amon touches the forehead and two points on either side of the neck(since its from the back).......whether it was aang or it was the lion turtle there was some sort of eye flashing light blue and green respectively but with amon there is no such thing
so there may be 3 possibilities-
1) he can take away bending like aang and positions dont matter
2) he can take away their bending for himself(like stealing) so it means he is powerful because he would taken powers of 100 waterbenders, so bloodbending doesnt affect him that way
3) he can simply lock their bending away (like azula's lightning did to avatar state in season 2) until some great shock or force makes it open again......all the while he is saying tat he took away bending.....i dont think the spirit world spirit will give such a power to normal individual....avatar is the world's spirit so the power will be to the avatar....
