It was pretty awesome episode. I just dislike the fact that tarlock lost his bending already. I thought he woulda been idk a bigger villain. Amon badass tho. I think he resisted the bending becuz maybe part of his body is made out of metal

Yeah, I like the theory that Amon is somewhat made of metal. Although wouldn't Tarlock sense that Amon had a loss of blood in certain areas of his body? So many questions about him..

Hahah, they were quick to resolve Tarrlok issues. Guy was a threat to everyone. So Amon was indeed a solution there. Who the hell is he ? He was practically immune to blood bending and Tarrlok tried really hard to do it.
It was nice to see Sokka, "twinkle toes" and Toph :]

Here's an awesome preview of finale :

It kinda looks like someone is blood bending Mako and Korra while Amon gets ready to take away her bending. Could it be that Amon takes other people powers to himself or something ? But that would be just too op.

Idk of he could. He wasn't really himself after he ha been discovered. An Amon was stopped but not completely. So I just think its the only logical Lol. But who knows right?

Ueah it was nice to see and hear them :)
Hmm yeah I can see that. That would jut be too much. I think it's impossible to take the avatars bending away tho.

I understand what you mean. But the first time Tarlock tried to bloodbend Amon, Amon did struggle, but then continued walking. After that Tarlock tried to do it again. . . That's really confusing me. I don't know who or what Amon is, but it's driving me crazy xD. General Bo Fang (Butchered that spelling lol :3 the metal bending lady) should try to metal bend Amon, just to get these questions out of the way.

Great Ep, looks like we might see Avatar state next weekend! Thanks to the trailers.

About this episode, it's crazy how Amon knows every bending style, and he's able to combat it with this knowledge. Really makes me believe Amon is a bender himself, and wants to be the only bender out there.

Great episode, sad to see tarlock go so quickly, he just became a villlain last week though.

This episode was great! Amon is badass as always, but who is he? Is it possible that he is Aang by himself? And poor Asami, I'll understand if she become evil.

Great episode!! xd i love this show
some reactions:

Bolin - God, you really want to punch him for backstabbing Korra regarding the Korra x Mako, but then again, he did get heart broken by Korra before so I guess it's his way of repaying the favor :p

It's nostalgic to see nearly all the previous casts back with exception of Katara :( Sokka did sound a bit too young for his age

theory on Amon
I know this is a bit far-fetched but I really think what Aang is trying to tell Korra is that Amon is in fact himself or something. I don't mean Aang is still alive, but Amon may have hijacked his body or part of his body after Aang passed away. Everything that Amon has been doing (the way he takes bending away and the way he resisted blood bending) mirrors what Aang did in Korra's vision, without the Avatar state of course. I just can't seem to think of any explanation to Amon's ability. And it makes sense given that he had to hide his identity. Anyway that's my take on this.

I predict Yakone is Amon.
It could be explained that Yakone somehow 'absorbed' the ability to remove bending when Aang took away his bending and that due to his original bloodbending skills he is able to resist it almost completely. However that in itself is contradictory. On top of that for a person that's over 80 years old he's quite nimble, his voice changed and then he just took the bending away of his own son.

I just had some really whack, completely based on nothing, excreted straight from my imagination theory =DD A few minutes ago I realized that there's actually a bit of a flaw in the whole Avatar - balance - spirit world - real world thingy. The Avatar is supposed to keep balance to the world, but who keeps the Avatar in balance? As the Avatar is only one person, that's actually a complete 'unbalance' in that entire system. So what if when the Avatar spirit came to the real world, another spirit came alongside with him to balance him out. After all if someone suddenly gets the power to bend all 4 elements, it's not too farfetched to think that he's just going to use it for his own profit. So to keep that from happening this 2nd spirit had the ability to easily take away bending powers and was quite resilient against bending itself. With other words it was to keep the balance in check.

However because after a while, when the Avatar had been reincarnated so many times, he eventually was kept at bay by its own previous lives, making the 2nd spirit not needed anymore and forgotten. But this spirit too kept on reincarnating and eventually in this generation became Amon, who somehow realized his powers due to the trauma of losing his family.

...wot? Just a really wild theory for the fun xd

Of course I know that, and it's a sick theory. I'm pretty sure it's possible somehow
Putting aside the fact that Aang's spirit has been aiding Korra this entire time while she was fighting Amon and the fact that it makes no sense whatsoever that an avatar who saved the world, protected Republic City and has a no-kill and only-fight-as-last-possible resort policy?

I LOVE THAT ANTI-AVATAR THEORY, Crème Brêlée! You remind me of Caliburn. If you see him, tell him Lili said hi, haven't seen his sexy ass in a long time
