I sincerely doubt it. Blood bending was a skill Hama developed and the only other person who knew it was Katara and, based on what she thinks about blood bending, it's highly unlikely she taught it too many people if she taught it to anyone in the first place. On top of that it only works during the full moon.you should watch it. and you should watch it right now
I re-watched the series from the very beginning for the 4th time just because of the upcoming series.
OT:
I will give 3 because I didn't like this lightning bending thing. I mean I was already disappointed that metal bending become an ordinary thing but now lightning as well? in the original series even zuko couldn't master it and only 3 people had it, all from the royal family.
and I just remembered that ty lee's fighting style also became common.
I just get the feeling that blood bending is next :|
Metal bending is different as Toph made a school for it to teach it to people. Toph had to discover how to bend metal on her own, but when you have a teacher it's a lot easier to learn and Toph started teaching quite soon after the war ended with metal bending, so it's not surprising that there are now more metal benders. I like the idea of having a metal bending corps, though I don't really like the fact that so many people can use lightning now, however I found an acceptable explanation on Avatar wikia: originally during the war firebending was 'rage', rigid and militaristic. But the key to bending lightning is a calm state of mind, which is the complete opposite. So it's not so surprising that that in those times lightning benders were very rare, but after the war Zuko replaced that kind of firebending with firebending that was based on harmony. So it's not so surprising that more people can bend lightning now.
