rated 5 because I liked this action-packed episode with the chi blockers who remind me of ty lee; also I like the whole crime gangs; it was crazy how the equalist leader took bending away xd
Even if he did, why would the turtle tell him? Though it's really intriguing as the way he did it was exactly same as how Aang did it, namely pressing the forehead with the thumb. Though normally the stripping of energy bending is supposed to a double edged sword, it's a clash between spirits, but what could a non-bender potentially loose?

The two who attacked Korra and Mako were female, to make things even more similar to Ty Lee, you really can't blame the makers of Avatar of being sexist seeing characters like Katara, Toph, Azula, Mai, Ty Lee and now Korra.
And then the classical Avatar humor at the start with Bolin and the circus ferret ^x^ Bolin is so the Sokka of the group.
I also loved the Zuko statue, at least I think it was Zuko on the place where Bolin was doing his circus act.
And why for some reason are it always fire benders? Fire bender killed Mako and Bolin's parents, fire bender killed Haman's parents...
I did it on my own accord, this section is to discuss any kind of anime/manga/comic/cartoon not covered by any other sections and I love Avatar. Great humor, great plot, but doesn't derail too much and you really have an incredible amount of info in just one episode. At least the term 'filler' does not exist here and above all a first class top-notch animation. The bending graphics are just breathtaking.
Yeah, I forget to mention that. I don't really like that either, though that's probably to show how 'open' the world has become. It's the same with metalbending: Toph discovered that on her own and then she taught it to other people. Discovering it isn't easy, but if you have a teacher that's another matter.
Originally only a handful of elite fire benders was able to use it, but if someone trains people in it or something, it's not impossible it becomes more widespread. This fits in Zuko's vision to make the Fire Nation open to the world and to break that rigid militaire fire bending style. This is also indicated due to the different amount of bending styles that have been used so far as for instance Mako seems to use some kind of boxing style.
you should watch it. and you should watch it right now
I re-watched the series from the very beginning for the 4th time just because of the upcoming series.
OT:
I will give 3 because I didn't like this lightning bending thing. I mean I was already disappointed that metal bending become an ordinary thing but now lightning as well? in the original series even zuko couldn't master it and only 3 people had it, all from the royal family.
and I just remembered that ty lee's fighting style also became common.
I just get the feeling that blood bending is next :|
At first I didnt like it cause I thougnt korra was lame, but mako cool and his bro funny and the fights seem good although the chi blockers reminded me of neji
