[ Discuss ] Name the members of Akatsuki that Jiraya Could Possibly Beat ?

he could beat for sure:deidara,hidan,sasori,kakuzu,paper girl (name eludes me atm)
he could beat probably:kisame
he could beat mayberochimaru
he cant beat:itachi,tobi,pain

 

[Illyasviel]

for sure:konan,hidan
probably:kakuzu,kisame,orochimaru
maybe:deidara,sasori,zetsu(he would either lose or have a hard time or have a draw if deidara choses to blow up the both of them)
never:itachi,pain,tobi

 

[Rem]

Hidan, Kakuzu, Konan, maybe Deidara, maybe Sasori, idk what Zetsu can do on a 1vs1 and Kisame with major difficulty.

 

[Pein of the Rain]

Deidara can beat Hidan Kakuzu Sasori
Deidara vs Kisame Draw

 

[Totsuka No Tsurugi]

all except tobi
and he can beat nagato with the condition knowing his secret

 

[Tosen]

Jiraya would kill Nagato,Tobi and Itachi

he would lose to all the other members.

1st bold: that because he's not trying to kill naruto, he was trying to supress it with the seal that he gave to kakashi

2nd bold: no info but with info j-man will win as nagato said

Not as black and white as you make it sound but ok. I think Jiraiya has a good chance of beating the following members. This of course would require Sage Mode but hey, that's part of his arsenol.

Orochimaru
Hidan(maybe maybe maybe)...Would require assistance from his summons
Deidara
Kisame
Zetsu(but we don't know enough about him really)
Kakuzu

These are all the ones I think he has a good chance against. There are reasons why he can and can't win.
I think though that Jiraiya is very smart and very good at fighting in all areas.
