This is the manga, not the anime. You don't argue things based on the anime when talking about the manga. In the episode his sword looks different.
Manga evidence overrides anime evidence. Always.

No it wasn't. Kubo himself confirmed he will be back. That overrides any other source you can possibly find.NOT GRIMMJAW........its confirmed he died!
Wait Aizen had a captain mole in the gotei 13 before he even joined the gotei 13? That sounds rediculous, but not 100% impossible since that arrancar dude with the skeleton head didnt attacked her during Ichigo's assault on hueco mundo. And also the quincies want to kill all shinigami so why would she turn against the shinigami while the quincies sees her as an enemie as well? If she is smart she would have waited till both parties killed out each other and then sweep away those who are remaining.I'll weep uncontrollably if it's Gin!!!
And this just hit me, what if it's Unohana? I say her because, I remember a few years back on a Bleach forum on facebook, where someone came up with a theory about Aizen having an inside "man" in SS. And that person was believed to be Unohana. Well, she never did join Aizen and rebel against SS when Aizen was at his peak, so I had completely forgotten about that theory -- until now. This time! This time, if she were a mole .. could be no better time to show her true colors. Perhaps Urahara and his genius always "thought" of someone other than Aizen being a mole, but even he never expected it to be Unohana or ..perhaps he knew it was her, but never revealed her because ..he was connected? Aizen/Urahara/Uhohana ...naw I won't go any further. I'm rambling and talking out the side of my neck at the moment.
Buuuuut, I just can't stop yet. I just have this feeling that it's someone who knows Urahara very well and we're about to get some light shed on Urahara's "true self". I do keep sensing a bitter, deep, old revenge-type scenario from the scene's where that took place after Kirge was KO'd. I just can't shake the fact that Urahara is/or at least was a dirty player for a certain period and Ichigo is about to be a first account witness to these details.
And about that barrier that Ichigo is trapped behind, if it doesn't dissipate when Kirge dies, then it's in place to not only stall Ichigo from SS, but also to prevent him from rescuing Urahara in time, if Kubo is indeed going all out (which I believe he is) and the shit really hits the fan (death to Mr. Bucket hat?) Seems too soon...
