Hashirama would slap the sh*t out of Deidara (which would result to his death), and everybody knows that fact.

Deidara's little "strong" bombs are just like a snow falling from the sky to Hashirama (or at least to his 10000 handed buddha summoning sh*t).

I have to disagree with 2 things:

1. If im not mistaken, diedara came in during his first encounter with sasuke, on a bird, and even made the first move.
Not to mention, he tricked Guys whole team with a massive clay clone that would have killed them all had it not been for kakashi.

2. You can't compare the direct damage of a tbb to the splash damage of a massive explosion. It's like either being hit by a rocket or being caught in a huge fireball from a massive explosion.

Again, how does he counter microscopic bombs?

Sage mode(to sense chakra and thus the bombs) mafly hiding in his own trees.

C4 has to be the most underrated jutsu in the entire manga.

If you can't sense the bombs you die.

If you can sense them you have to hold your breath while fighting, run away, or be one of only a handfull of shinobi that can nulify the bombs.

C4 defeats 99.99% of the NV.

C4 acts like poison gas. Do what sakura did and you'll be fine. Or use hiding like mole or any wind tech...baku inhale in line it's nothing.

given hashi's instaheal tech a splash damage would be far less effective than trying to nuke him with a tbb since less damage is inflicted directly at him. So what if some of the wood in the forest he makes gets blown up? As for microscopic bombs, he has sage mode meaning he can easily sense the chakra in them so with any intel going in or deidara giving away his talent before using micro bombs would have hashi in sage mode during the fight. Really the only chance deidara has is if hashi has no intel meaning no sage mode at start and first thing he does is send in microbombs. Larger stuff? tanked by wood dome. Arial tactics? i wonder how many sealing gates he could dodge or better yet, how much chakra and clay he would waste randomly dropping bombs if hashi layed down his dark mist, cutting off deidaras sight.
