I already knew that, but even when kabuto isnt talking and muu is in control of his body he still seemed to lean towards akatsuki
Did you guys expect Madara's personality to be the way it is?

that is so true. since he split his body his will is not as strong.
i dont think we know nuthing of true madara yet. when he wasr talking to muu-kabuto he told him that he wanted to try something.so his powers are new to him aswell.or did he do it to test naruto?
i think theres more to him then meets the eye..and whats on his chest?
Yep. Because I took the denotations into consideration and made a premature hypothesis that Madara would be extremely similar to Sasuke had he appeared. However, when the manga theorized that Tobi was Madara this speculation of mine diminished. But now that Madara's true identity was uncovered, looks like this idea is back. So nope, not unexpected at all for me.

He's definately not what I expected. I expected him to be more 'in your face' arrogent like sasuke, but its more of, 'you know i'm awesome, I know i'm awesome, let me show you my awesome'. He's also more chill, and I actually thought he reminded me of Itachi. Like, he's pissed about how things are, but instead of flying off the handle like sasuke would, he's more calm, calculating, planning - like itachi.
I also like the display of emotions too, the reminiscing smile really through me. The impressed smile through me too, I can see naruto getting through to him with how impressed he was by narutos power.

Madara knows for a fact that the second he steps out of line with Kabuto, his will is gone forever.
But Madara knows Kabuto needs him at the same time.
As I see it, Madara is going along with what Kabuto wants so he can learn what he can from the situation.
With the way Madara is behaving as well, it seems as if he expected to be resurrected at some point at well.... so I wouldnt be surprised if he is formulating a plan to break out of the hold of Kabuto the same as Itachi did.
Think about it, if Kabuto dies... the ninjestu continues on.
I believe we have not even seen the real side of Madara. We will once hes free of Kabuto... which will happen.

Well Sasuke HAS been compared to Madara. Madara is like a cooler Sasuke minus the bitchiness, and hate puns/references. Madara is as I expected, a man pursuing power and an unquenchable thirst for battle

Not a Sasuke fan but I think you got it wrong. Sasuke`s fought very powerful foes, almost power sexually driven into madness evil chakra, and most of times given the right answer to the jutsus he was attacked with...

well after Madara showed up for the first time I was actually surprised that he, as it seems, willingly attacks the shinobo forces. I never pictured him being bad or evil acutally. All we knew about him was that he wanted to become Konoha's Hokage instead of Hashirama and fought him and lost. Never seemed really evil to me. So I expected him to be more pro-shinobi forces and anti-akatsuki...but it seems he genuienly has a hand in this.
The answer to this may actually be because he was neutral sort of and he knows why he was brought back to life so he attacked and to show off.
To me Madara is different from both Sasuke and Itachi. Sasuke is kinda crazy cause he lost his drive in the world after the death of Itachi, with the crazy evil laughs and want to kill everything. Itachi is a pacifist who would prefer not to fight. Madara enjoys the thrill of battle and a opponent that will push his powers to the limit. He wants more power to become the absolute best and will do anything to achieve it. Madara doesn't seem evil to me.

Personally I thought him to be abit more cold... More like... let's say Ulquiorra... barely showing any emotion or general interest or enthusiasm for what he's doing.
But he does come off very malicious and bloodthirsty...
Let's not forget that Sasuke is essentially Madara reborn. They share a similar malice in their chakra (Kyuubi stated so) and hell, Sasuke even LOOKS like Madara... and when Sasuke would go into curse mark stage 2... his hair was the same...
I still think Madara is more emotionally stable than Sasuke tho'... Altho Sasuke IS still a kid.

yeah, he showed no hesitation in trying to obliterate the shinobi forces, he's just as evil as sasuke, but more collected and less nutty imo. still they're basically two peas from the same pod. even the way they attack, less emphasis on tactics and intelligence and more on heavy attacks, they're like the opposite of itachi.
