[Discussion] Did you feel bad for Light Yagami?

At the end of Death Note during Light's last moments did you feel bad for him? I know i did. Although he became crazy and a **** the reason he did it was to make the world better. At the end all that surfaced. I read the manga and watched the anime but i think the anime ending was better because you could see how deesperate he really was and it ended in a better way.

I didn't. I like Light, but he outsmarted himself. He had three perfectly good pawns at his disposal but he kills them instead. He could have walked in to that final confrontation and killed everyone who had any idea who he was. I would have written the names of the cops and had them kill Near and the agents and then kill themselves. Then you are the undisputed god

Nope I liked Light and his idea and if I were Light I would've tried to kill L too (even though L is my favorite) let's be rational here if you're trying to do something important and someone is trying to stop you then you kill them. The reason why I hated Light was because he would go as far as to kill his own sister and father. He said it himself. And because when he lost his memories he said it himself that he wants to stop Kira and he thinks kira is a monster. When he got his memory back you'd think he'd be more rational but nope

although I did read chapter 000.. ^_^ but I ... um... kinda love Light & L .. and I did feel kinda bad maybe.. u_u

The manga ending was better then the anime one, plus it has the time skip (one year) where you learn about Misa's death and KIRA's followers. the last pages were the best way to end the manga (in my opinion).

They thought he was gonna take a break even after a year. Misa and some other girl killed themselves in the anime, but in manga Misa's location was unknown.
