I don't think so, it was stated that Shanks losing his arm "didn't weaken him in any way". Also, I don't think (hope) Shanks has a Devil Fruit.

He's not just a swordsman, he's a haki monster, i really hope he doesn't have a DF, it's good to be different from other yonkos.

I feel as if Whitebeard himself wasn't sick and so old he would have done so much more in the war IMO. And if he wasn't worried about safety and well being of his allies he could have brought the fort to the bottom of the ocean with his Devil Fruit.
-Sure the Admirals and Warlords were an issue, but it took all 3 admirals to stop 1 of Whitebeards mini shockwaves. Imagine if he upped is his output he would have wrecked the area.

No, I don't think so. They probably wouldn't even have gotten as far as they did, if Luffy, Crocodile, Jinbe and Ivankov didn't show up.
But at the same time, Whitebeard couldn't go all out until they retrieved Ace either, so who knows how it really could have gone down?

People got to realize that saying that if Whitebeard wasn't sick and old blah blah blah doesn't solve things, the same thing applies to Garp and Sengoku, if they weren't old they would be even stronger too.

Whitebeard held back while fighting in order to protect ace till he was freed but sadly he was stabbed by squardo.......

If whitebeard was not stabbed by Squardo it would have been different story atleast ace would have been alive with Akainu severely injured I guess

Also They should have bargained some of the warlords into their side like Mihawk and Doflamingo.

There is so much wrong with this post..

-If we make WB younger, then the Marines should be younger too. If WB was younger this war wouldn't be happening because Ace wouldn't be captured :|

-Experience has hardly anything to do with it. The Marines had 3 admirals, plenty of shichibukai, Garp and Sengoku.

-That's just not possible, WB teaming up with Shanks. Just no.

-And absolutely 100% no to this. Duoing the whole of Marineford? Bullshit.

-You can't bargain with the shichibukai because then they could potentially lose their title.

Course they did but the reason they lost was because Whitebeard was sick and had to die at some point, so the new era can start & Imagine if Whitebeards crew won, they would have become "justice" and for the story Oda obviously can't let that happen.

true whitebeard went there on a suicide mission because he was dying........if he 100% healthy i bet things would have been totally different!
