You misconceived Neji's notion. He stated all people born losers stay losers. Naruto stated that wasn't the case and proved it. And I'm about sick and tired of hearing this same misconception every week.
You being sick and tired of a valid point itself isn't a valid argument. Get over yourself. If you were that tired of it you shouldn't have bothered posting on this thread, so put on your big boy pants and grow up. The premise behind Neji's statement was that people are born into a certain role in life and regardless of anything they do nothing can change that role. Naruto was already born into the role of being Ashura's reincarnation, Sasuke was born into the role of being Indra's carnation everything that has transpired between them is really only a slight standard deviation from what was "destined" to occur and even that's debatable since it was already predetermined that kaguya was going to be revived and they'd have to seal her. As another poster stated, naruto and neji may have changed but it didn't change their roles in life and that's what neji was addressing.
*Twelve chapters. And nothing about it was easy. They required Kakashi, Sakura, Hagoromo, all the kages, Obito, all the bijuus and several strategies throughout all these chapters to wear her out and corner her. And you lost all objectivity in your criticism by calling something you did not enjoy an "ass pull." It's called a deus ex machina by the way, and you are using it in the wrong context, though most on this site does anyway.
No it's a FACT that it was an "ass pull". What do you call it when an author admits he doesn't know how to resolve a situation and is rushed into creating a resolution for the sake of appeasing everyone else?? Hell, if I were really being "subjective" I'd say half of what occurred wasn't even a fight, it was hide and seek between dimensions. Kaguya attempted to kill them off at one point and when they reunited she ran from dimension to dimension in an attempt to evade being sealed. However, I kindly referred to it as an "ass pull" because what occurred was clearly improvised by masashi and he even admitted that by stating he didn't know how he was going to defeat madara, er go the events that transpired with kaguya were not originally part of the series.
Many video games possess amazing narratives in my opinion, though I'm not seeing the parallel you're drawing here.
That sounds like a personal problem. If you can't perceive anything outside of deus ex then it's just indicative of the fact that you don't k now as much about video games as you think you do. The premise of a deus ex machina is an unexpected power or event saving a seemingly hopeless situation, especially as a contrived plot device in a play or novel. In which case not only does the premise fit this situation but people are also referring to the fact that the ending was synonymous to a "congratulations!!! you've saved the world, you're now the moon master!!!" ending that you see in video games such as mass effect aka "congratulations! you've beaten the game thanks for playing and saving the world..etc."
"We?" You are one person mr. "we are legion!" Do not generalize your subjective interpretations with myself and others. It agitates me. The manga is not over yet and the prophecy states they will still fight.
Yeah, I said WE, know why?? Because WE were told explicitly that WE would see a final fight between naruto and sasuke. It has been referenced in the manga numerous times to the point where it's obvious kishi was trying to give the audience a hint. So yeah, WE.
Right, just like all the shinibi nations forgot all the far worse deeds over the last century they've done to each other. The people you are speaking of have little to no control over the situation and this is a war. If they wasted time antagonizing each other like morons, they'd be annihilated by the real enemy.
Actually they didn't. In fact that was the purpose of all those flash backs and some of the events that transpired. That all of the primary antagonists in the series have faced some sort of resolution be it good or bad. However, the majority of antagonists in the manga have been faced with retribution in some form or another. Why should sasuke be any different?? Instead we're treated to him being let off the hook because of 1 friendship speech. How does one friendship speech negate everything sasuke has done?? Especially when he's made it clear that even though he's returned he's intent on promoting his own agenda over other people as though nothing happened. Arguably what he did could have been seen as some form of redemption. However, the most logical conclusion is he only helped because he has his own agenda in mind and he knows that if he didn't help he'd be dead with everyone else. He didn't give a damn when it was only kakashi and sakura's lives on the line.
And what exactly does whining about it do? If you want to criticize something, be my guest, but don't generalize myself or others with your random, invalid interpretations while having the audacity to refer to your soapy rants as actual criticism. Never did like salsa. The food and especially the music.
As I stated previously, get over yourself. I'm not obligated to create posts to appease you or anyone else and if you don't like it you can go cry about it on facebook instead of being a hypocrite. I don't give a shit about whether you think I'm ranting or criticizing.
By the way, rules and regulations state to refer to the stickied chapter discussion threads rather than randomly making your own, oh "holier than thou."
Well then the admins have done a terrible job considering the fact that the premise of a FORUM IS TO ENGAGE IN A DISCUSSION ABOUT OPINIONS OR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE MOST RECENT CHAPTERS, and considering the fact that I'm not the first one posting my thoughts about this manga chapter I'd say I'm doing just fine. If you don't like it there's no skin off my ass.
When you generalize people with your own self-righteous interpretations, you open yourself up to ad hominem. Furthermore, if you misinterpret or bash things, which you clearly did, people have the right to call you out on them. You stated people can demonstrate their opinions? This is true, including opinions towards those who give opinions.
NO REALLY EINSTEIN???!!?!? HEY EVERYONE WE HAVE A GENIUS HERE!! EINSTEIN HERE HAS HYPOTHESIZED THAT PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY FREE TO POST THEIR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS ON A FORUM!! WHAT A GROUND BREAKING DISCOVERY!!
And I can see that the point of my post also went over your head considering the fact that the premise was to draw attention to how juvenile and ignorant basing arguments on an over generalizations about a person's gender is. Real smart Einstein. Tell me, did you go to Harvard???
P.s. I don't care if you think I'm bashing or not. In fact, your opinion is completely irrelevant. This was meant to be a mixture of a rant and a criticism. If you don't like it, you can leave.
