Obviously he thought he could beat him. Sasuke's not the type who would go in thinking he wouldn't win. And Kabuto was just strong because of Orochimaru's power. It's quite possible that Sasuke could take him down with and especially without that power.

Actually he is right, I liked Sasuke a lot more because of his versatility with jutsu, but since MS he has used basically nothing but that.

Yeah a chidori now and again, but nothing like Kirin.

okay the only reason they won is because itachi used izanagi if it was just kabuto and sasuke kabuto would have won unless sasuke was willing to sacrifice one of his eyes to beat kabuto witch i doubt but luckily itachi was there so they won end of discussion unless you ppl want to argue pointlessly like dirty monkey trolls xD

he has a point sasuke can cast amaterasu all he wants with no side effect, that is until he runs out of chakra.

this thread is made invalid to me for two points
1. neither kabuto nor sasuke were trying to kill each other so the so called fight was not valid.
2. all threads that involve current sasuke/naruto needs to stop, no one has seen the true potential of either the EMS or BM. so until we see a fight where sasuke displays a nice portion of his power using EMS we cant say which side would have won

Btw Sasuke has never ever shown non stop Ama capabilities, he uses Ama like once a fight, followed by blaze release.
