did sakura grow up ?

She has grown up, in the sense that she doesn't want Sasuke all to herself anymore. Like she said Sasuke doesn't have to be with her or even love her back but she doesn't want him to go any further in his plans. She admits she's pathetic in still holding onto these feelings but most real life girls her age do that.
1. Sasuke doesn't even like her.
2. She has witnessed sasuke's actions until now and came close to die once in his hands but yet she craves for his love which is pathetic even in real life.
3. Nobody watches/reads naruto for pairings, readers care about main story which is important. There are zillions of literature's, movies, manga's, anime's solely dedicated for love. It's really pathetic that people expect pairings from a manga like this.
People hate it when kishi gives her panel time for crying instead of some important events.

The outrage is based on gross mistranslations. Sakura isn't confessing her love in the official release, Kakashi even says she is neither trying nor wanting to make Sasuke hers. She also uses the word "daisuki" which is the same word Kakashi used in reference to Team 7 in 698; it's love of a platonic/familial nature.
