He actually defeated fairly strong characters in part 1 using only intellect, and he led the genin team in the sasuke retrival arc. He has never been useless. Sakura, however, did nothing in part 1. I think the fight against sasori was a way of showing her improvement after those 3 years of training, besides sakura and chiyo didnt have an easy fight with him because he's a really strong character just look at the diversity of his abbilities short-range, mid-range, long-range he was very well armed for any situation.
Overall she deserved it, they struggled against him but still pulled it off, of course we cant say it was sakura alone, but chiyo and sakura deserved to win the fight!

Sakura didn't "deserve" to beat him. She didn't even fight him alone.

Sakura and Chiyo earned their win. Chiyo's knowledge and skill mixed with Sakura's antidotes and use of her physical strength overcame Sasori. Though ultimately in the end he died of his own choosing, it still remains that Chiyo's use of puppets that were based on his parents ultimately gave Sasori his choice of stopping.

It has nothing to do with deserving.

She kept Naruto and Sasuke alive when they were injured and defended them against Team Dosu.

Her growth was not an asspull at all. Kakashi acknowledged her talent for chakra control and potential for genjutsu, he just didn't do much with it aside from teaching her how to dispel illusions. Tsunade actually did something with her raw talent.

This is dumbest shit you have posted yet. Clans don't determine shit about a character. Sakura has already surpassed Tsunade, she has all her jutsu and greater strength feats to boot and she's only 16.
