Did Sakura "deserve" to beat Sasori?

Sasuke awakened his Sharingan. Naruto used the Kyūbi. Hardly fair or relevant.



This is a non-statement.



Apparently is because she learned all of Tsunade's jutsu and has greater strength feats. You have no legs to stand on.



If they were from notable clans, i.e. worth mentioning, they would have been mentioned. Keep grasping for straws though, it's fun to watch.



And neither came from prominent clan. Nobody ever talks about the Hatake or Might clans. They talk about Sakumo and Dai, the individuals.



You just might overdose on stupidity.

OT: Yeah, she deserved it I guess. Kishi never really have her the spotlight to do much, now he finally gives her the time to shine and everyone just complains about it. They complain she's useless, then they complain when she does stuff... This fandom is so weird.

Yes, he had the skills to do so, but didn't, not because he gave up, just because he couldn't react to mommy's and daddy's puppet, he had issues, emotional problems that Chiyo exploited well...

Besides, if Sakura hadn't made it to save Chiyo, and Sasori successfully killed the old granny, Sakura would have been the one that finished him off.

True, Sakura couldn't have done it alone, but neither does Chiyo, she saved her on 3 occasions during that epic fight.

antidote is prep,without she gets cut and dies of the poison/sasori

It is, she had previous knowlege of his poison and a way to counter it for some time, but having Byakugou isn't prep at all.
And Byakugou is totally countering poison:

"By releasing the great volume of chakra stored in her forehead at once, the body's cell division is forcibly stimulated by proteins, reconstructing all organs and all tissues making up the human body. The technique itself does not regenerate the old cells, rather it hastens the creation of new ones through division. If this technique is used, a body whose vital organs are so gravely injured that it cannot bear it any longer will be instantly restored to its uninjured state. By Tsunade's own claim, as long as she has chakra it is impossible for her to die by any means, as such she gains a form of "immortality" throughout the duration of the technique."

Byakugou regeneration works on cell's division, changing damaged old cells for new ones instantly. So the cells poisoned will be changed with no diff or wait at all...
So she can counter Sasori's most deadly weapon, his poison.

She honestly is hated way too much, if Shikamaru deserves to beat an Akatsuki member then Sakura does too.

Against Zabuza round 1 they used teamwork and strategy to free Kakashi, no added skills. Sakura used stand still no jutsu. Even so, the sharingan and kyuubi further showed Naruto and Sasukes potential. The only potential ever shown for Sakura was that she had good chakra control. Didn't help her though.

She shouldn't even be close to their level with her limited potential, ever. Tsunade has inherited strength from the Senju clan, but Sakura uses only chakra control to increase the strength of her punches. In 2 1/2 years, she went from someone who didn't know anything about power induced strikes or medical ninjutsu, to someone who could heal Kankuro and make an antidote to basically the most complex poison there is. From not being able to harm a fly, to be able to destroy the ground with one punch. Her growth was just too much. She had nothing to go on before she started with her training, compared to Naruto and Sasuke who just improved the skills that they already had. She had to start from the beginning. That is why her growth is an asspull. If she was such a genius to begin with, then she would've learned at least something during part 1.

We know that Sakura comes from a normal family, we've seen her parents and they are nothing special. We know nothing about these other families/clans though. Just like we knew nothing about the Uzumaki clan before, but it still turned out to be of the greatest clans. Maybe Minato's father was ANBU, we don't know. Maybe Jiraiya and Orochimaru came from powerful clans, we don't know. There are many things we don't know in Naruto, Kishi doesn't tell us much.

It's true that Might and Hatake are not famous clans. We do know, however, that Sakumo and Dai were powerful ninja so it's not much of a surprise that their sons are powerful as well, inherited power. Now it's true that every good ninja doesn't come from famous clans. But if you grow so quickly in 2.5 years, being able to fight Sasori. Then basically surpassing Tsunade and being able to fight a goddess, it is an asspull

For me chiyo was the true winner. She controlled sakura half the time....laid out the strategy and everything.For a matter of fact, sasori died on purpose, they never could have beaten him.
