Did Naruto start the the fight with Pein at 1/3 strength?

ok 1 :naruto: has 100% of his chakra

he makes 1 shadow clone so there are 2 Narutos with half the chakra
:naruto: 50% :naruto: 50%

if he makes 3 clones then there are 4 narutos at 25% chakra :naruto: 25%, :naruto: 25%,:naruto: 25% :naruto: 25%

because if the clones didn't need to worry about balance pa frog wouldn't have to worry about hitting them to stop them from turning into toads. you turn into a toad when you take in too much nature chakra and can't balance it out with spiritual and physical energies.

Naruto started the fight with Pein knowing he had 2 shadow clones at frog mountain. that means his chakra was split up 3 ways and each clone had 1/3 of the originals chakra.

he's not fighting with 3x his chakra he started fighting at 1/3 because he had 2 clones on the mountain. the chakra in the shadow clones stay in the shadow clones until he disperses them. THEN he goes back into sage mode. it would be more accurate to say that he's fighting in sage mode 3 x as long as he normally would but he's not 3x stronger.

NOW he only has 1 clone at frog mountain so he could be fighting at 50% because the balance must be met in order to use senjutsu. he has 50% of his chakra now so he must be able to hold more nature chakra as well to maintain balance.

my point is that i think naruto started the fight at 1/3 power because of the 2 clones at the mountain. now there's 1 clone so he's up to 50%. and when he uses the last clone he will be at 100% of his chakra level and should (according to the manga) be able to use more nature energy which is only limited by how much chakra naruto had to start with for balance purposes.

But what about all the "KB" which was created in the fight... how much power would they have 1/3 of the orginal which is already at 1/3... so how can they create a Wind rasengan and double ResengaN and The gaint one???

that is a very good question bud! i don't think the manga ever really gets into that. there are already 3 narutos at 1/3 chakra each... if the original makes 2 more clones for a total of 5 narutos, does it divided 100% of his chakra 5 ways or does it divided 1/3 his chakra 3 ways because he's at 1/3 power when he casts KB. this is like the word problem from hell... god i hate math... 100%/5 = 20% each where as 33%(1/3)/3 = 11% each. i just don't know.... i don't remember them talking about this in the manga so i guess any answer would be speculation.

but really i think naruto has so much of his own chakra that using his KB to make rasengans isn't a big deal... i mean remember all those clones he used when he first learned the rasengan and when he learned to manipulate his elemental chakra? and that was all with out sage mode. if he has enough juice for all that then i'm sure what ever it is, 20% or 11% of his chakra in sage mode, is more than enough to make as many rasengans of any type as he needs... well, except for FRS because he said he can only make 2 in sage mode.

did i mention how much i hate math?

This is great and all but I wonder...if the thing in Naruto's hands...messing up his chakra, well when he put it in his hands Peins eyes poped up...and the sword looken thing he stabed him with is one of the things Pein uses to send his chakra...hence the eyes and messed up chakra, but what would happen if naruto used his other KB and went into sage mode. I mean in Pein is pretty much sending his chakra into naruto to scramble his, then would it work both ways and Pein would have to remove it so he would not get overloaded with sage chakra? Or is it possible for naruto to send back his chakra to scramble Peins, though I guess that would go with Pein getting overloaded...are those sword things one way or what?
