Did Naruto & Sasuke ever become Chuunin or Jonin?

No, they weren't ever promoted. Why? Because Kishi made a call back during the First Chunin Exams when Naruto said that it didn't matter if he was the Genin for the rest of his life; he was still going to be Hokage.
Well look what happened, Naruto was a Genin for his entire life until he became Hokage.
Makes sense too because becoming a Chunin/Jonin is worthless to him now. He can't do the exams because he would quite literally breeze through each test (save for the Written Exam) that would prove hes more than qualified to lead a team.
As for Sasuke, as soon as he returned to the village he left again so I doubt he cares.

Sasuke and Naruto are both gennin. It would be pointless for Naruto to retake the exams and I'd feel bad for the poor soul that'll have to go against a ninja god. Even in base mode he's more powerful than Kakashi. I don't think it really mattered much. Even before the war Naruto was going on A and S class missions.
Sasuke wasn't really in the village much after the war, excpet to leave his seed in Sakura and leaving. Even still Naruto admits that Sasuke does special type missions. He probably finds treats and exterminats them before they get out of hand. His the shadow kage of the village. He only probably answers to Naruto only. Maybe Kakashi.

The moment Kakashi stopped being Hokage, I'm pretty sure Sasuke stopped taking any orders from him.

Sasuke was S rank criminal that outranks both chuunin and jonin.
Naruto is hokage, same thing. So they could really couldn't be bothered.

Considering they both had several years before Kakashi retired after becoming Hokage, it is very likely they progressed normally through the ranks... I just wish I could've seen the other genin's reactions when they get within a mile of the the war hero and s-rank criminal who fought with the gokage... instant surrender in the tournament? or just beg them to take their scrolls in the second exam?

If anything Naruto, sasuke and Sakura are all Sannin now.
Since Naruto is Hokage i guess just sasuke and sakura are sannin.

I highly doubt that since the Last Movie takes place two years after the war and shows that Naruto is still a Genin. If he wanted to be promoted, he would have done so in that time. It just shows that Naruto simply doesn't care anymore because the Ranking system is worthless to him and Sasuke who transcend even the Kages.
