Did naruto really headbutt...

Tobi??? Tobi did look very surprised right before he ran into naruto. Couldn't he have sensed him way before he got that close? Or is naruto just too fast for him sensing it?

Also, if Tobi knew he was approaching, why didn't he phase out? or is the last picture just a metaphorical headbutt foreshadowing the impending fight?

Wonder if his mask would crack open if he did hit it... He looked suprised as FKKKK.!!!111

i think he wasn't prepared for that headbutt, he didn't think naruto would be that too fast.... but you should also consider the fact that naruto maybe could sense him from a far and had it well planned
