[Discussion] Did Kishi change his mind about Tobi?

If we look at the first 100 chapters or so Tobi is in, his character is pretty obvious, complete goofball, meant to appear weak, pretty random with his personality. Alot of people knew there was more to Tobi, mainly from the fact he was allowed into Akatsuki and showed no power, also that he always wore a mask.

But if we look at current Tobi's motivation, WHAT POSSIBLE reason did he have to do any of that, it just seems so....weird, this guy has a serious agenda, he is going to create a complete singularity within the world in a never ending sleepful genjutsu. What part of his mind just wanted to jump around, and talk like that, saying shit like "I'm a schoolgirl in love with her senpai" to deidara. :shrug:

Tobi could have monitored and worked with Akatsuki the way he did by acting 'funny' by simply using his S/T jutsu and having zetsu report to him, why did he need to go hands on, even moreso since Itachi KNEW his "real" (at the time) identity.

YES! and possibly more than once, but it's ok what difference does it make now after all.

Why would he need to act? Why did he even need to be there? He did nothing but crack jokes and shout 'NOOO DEIDARA SENPAI IS DEAD WHY WHY WHY- oh you're alive'.

That did not benefit him, hell with his S/T jutsu he could've solo'd alot of the beasts with his chakara reserves.

An akatasuki member died and needed to be replaced.

Zetsu and Nagato\Konan were the only two who knew who Tobi was.

Tobi decided he would join as a Sasori replacement.

Tobi put on his own persona, which was random and goofy (we can assume he would be as a "freshman" to the group + the humor added to the show... bottom line, Tobi acted like a weird dude)

Tobi was getting so close to his plan of acquiring all the tailed beasts... Why not personally step in and help capture some.

Tobi got to see the akatasuki from a closer point of view, why not join to do that?

It was getting close to time for Tobi to reveal himself anyways, maybe his plan was for the "ninja world" to learn there was a new member and later the reveal.

I don't think Kishi changed his mind in the slightest....

I'm guessing to witness his fellow Uchiha up close, not through Zetsu, but wanted to be there himself. He did plan to use Sasuke to take Nagato's place after all.

I see no reason for Tobi to act out of Character in front of Zetsu unless Kishi didnt want to reveal the real motive of Tobi. Also I am very certain Zetsu and Tobi have been plotting way before Akatsuki.

Imo he didnt change his mind about Tobi it all fits in what he was doing like no one could lay a finger on the guy do you think that is weak?
