I didn't knew it, I thought that itachi transferred his powers to sasuke and that way sasuke unlocked MS.
But it appears I was wrong.

I thought he only unlocked it when tobi unveiled the "truth" about itachi, and being in turmoil over having fought and "killed" his brother over a false reason unlocked it. Itachi was dead at the end of the battle it didn't matter if sauske made the final blow, the impact to sauske is the same

the ms isnt awaked through killing ur best friend it is awaked by a tramatizeing moment or however i spell that jus like when sasuke killed itachi he didnt get his ms not until he heard about itachis true past and then realized what he had done did he finally awaken it itachi only said u have to kill ur best friend because it would have been tramatizing to sasuke and awakened it faster then waiting for a moment like that to happen to him on its own and he wanted sasuke to be strong as possible in case the leaf decided one day to kill him like they did the other uchiha

I think your take the killing your best friend thing too literal I think other uchihas have unlocked it this way but didn't realise it wasnt actually the act of killing itself the the mental part of killing your best friend, who only after tobi revealed the truth to sauske did he start to think of itachi as his brother and best friend. Sure he didn't actually kill him but the way sauske sees it, his battle with itachi was the reason he died.

I think it's more likely that he awakened his MS by meditating over Obito's death.

I mean Shisui killed himself by suicide, yet Itachi awakened the MS.
Technically, Itachi killed himself as well, as he planned his death. Sasuke was the cause, but Itachi still planned it.

Gaining MS isn't a super large achievement in the Uchiha clan, but advancing it is a large one.

technically it was Kakashi's fault that obito died because obito saved him and maybe because it was like kakashi killed obito. and kakashi realized he was the one who "killed" obito because it was his fault he had left obito to go after the bridge first then realized half way there he had to go save his comrades and got injured when he came back late into obito's fight. because of the injury he couldn't see the rock at the end and obito had to save him. it was kakashi's fault for his injury therefore his fault for making obito save him, because obito was all about saving his friends. the realization of this by kakashi may have allowed him to unlock the MS....?
