At the end of battle city they duel but it's off screen and they never show the duel or the outcome. However, Joey ends up with his Red Eyes.
Before the duel they say "Their battle city isn't over yet"(I think this was in the manga?) so if they were playing battle city rules, where loser loses his rarest card--Yugi lost and gave Joey back his Red Eyes, is it possible?
