It had an impact, no matter how u look at it, the edos are dead, but they were killing living ppl, even if the kill count reduced by a few hundred, it was still something

Pretty much this.
That and the edos didn't want to be there. Itachi himself said that he thought it was good that the dead would finally be released and go back to resting in peace, instead of staying sealed or used like puppets. It helped the edos themselves, and the alliance as well.

That and Itachi didn't even know about Madara. I would have liked to see Itachi on the battlefield, but it would have been weird if he knew the seals to keep the edo tensei after undoing it. Madara only knew the seals to keep it because he found the scrolls Tobirama had for it.

he wasted time, resources and powers and achieved basically nothing.
kabuto was a obito subordinate. their efforts were better focused on the person actually trying to end the whole world and resurrect a god.

it ensured the alliance would eb wiped out by a pissed off obito. itachi wasted his time and precious manpower going after what amounts to a subordinate.

against who? kabuto? chiyo? kimimaro?he was content to stay in his cave and control madara. itachis best option was either madara or obito, the people actually trying to trap everyone in genjutsu and end the world.
the alliance is dead for the most part because of the power of madara obito juubi and spiral zetsu you imbecile.
e saved the lives of thousand fodders
he condmened the alliance to being wiped out by resurgent juubi
He saved everyone time and energy, also his little brother life.
he murdered thousands of alliance ninjas by doing nothing to stop juubis revival and basically wasting his time on a subordinate.
his brother is evil so saving his life almost got thousands killed.
but Itachi did the right thing imo.
how? in a war you go after the greatest thrat. itachi wasted time and resouces on a subordinate when he should be trying to stop a god.
It certainly reduced the casualties of the alliance in the hands of the edos.
it increased them since juubi being allowed to revive meant it was able to kill anyone who wasnt otherwise killed by the remaining edos. itachi got thousands killed for no reason out of sheer incompetant stupidity. what does it matter if the edos disappear when you have a god to stop? if juubi revives nothing else matters
If he hand't welll then the alliance wouldn't have able to save Naruto and Bee since they'd be preoccupied
they died anyway! obito would still have revived juubi with no one to sotp him. also no, the alliance left the edo fight to go help naruto and bee about 7 chapters before itachi appeared at kabutos location.
Kabuto was a problem and Itachi had the solution to undo edo
which allowed juubi to revive basically unmolested by an immortal uchiha

Itachi had the right idea of what to do, but the out come made things worse for the alliance.

Madara regaining free will is the worst thing that has happened to the alliance.
