Did Itachi admit that he killed shisui(his best friend) by his hand?

i read manga but I dont find itachi said that he killed his own best friend, also he felt rage when he found out that shisui was death and he become the accused of murder. I think that the time when Itachi truly awakened his mangekyou. And the death of Shisui is an evil scheme by Danzo or Tobi for their own benefit, since Danzo wanted so bad Shisui's power to become hokage and Tobi wanted Mangekyou user in Akatsuki.

If you find that itachi admited he killed shisui by himself please give me some prove, hope this is not a fail thread.

Itachi never really admited that he killed Shisui but everyone knwos that it was Itachi that killed Shisui because otherwise he wouldnt had the mnngekyo sharingan when he killed the entire clan

I think they assumed it was him because he was the only one who had the skills and power to do so within the clan of course.Or maybe it was the grief he suffered from finding out that his best friend is dead that awakened his MS( like you said it could have been Danzou or Madara/Tobi who killed him )

He doesnt state that he himself killed shisui, its just the way you interpret it i suppose.

Itachi said "Thank to him, i was able to obtain this eye", we could assume he admit that the died of shisui is awaken his mangekyou. but he dont answer such as direct "yes, I killed him and awaken mangekyou sharingan". Shisui could be murdered by someone other than Itachi.

Itachi was the one who forged the note saying Shisui committed suicide, he was able to use his mangekyo sharingan because of Shisui, and either Itachi or Madara said you had to kill the person closest to you, so it's very much implied, even though it's never said.

How did Hatake Kakashi get his MS?

we know that you have to kill your best friend (or someone that is very close to you)
But maybe the pain from loosing someone is also an option to unlock MS

i dont think that danzo is powerful enough to kill someone like shisui so if itachi didnt killed shisui it only left madara to blame

We all know Itachi killed Shisui but he wont tell directly " yes I did it " because :
1.Shisui was like his older broather and I think it's not that simple,expecialy for a person like Itachi to say somethink like " Yes I killed my best friend to gain a new power because I wanted to be stronger " is just not his style
2.plus - He's dead...
