Nonsense the sound 4 were try to make Sasuke a vessel not for his benefit which was also removed.
Obito did the procedure to create a new puppet not for Sasuke's benefit.
Hogaromo gave Sasuke the power up because foddersura descendant Naruto couldn't do anything. Like he gave to Ashura.
However Naruto begs kurama for chakra and begs without their help and power he'd be dead. Kurama would've killed Naruto pain arc. Then in the 8 tails training he would've died against kurama without kushina. He even begs the tailed beasts for their help.
