Hagoromo's chakra = Indra + Ashura regardless of whether it's Yin or Yang.

Here, Naruto has Hagoromo's pure undivided chakra. That's why he awakens the RSM Rinnegan which appears on the body cause of abundance of Yang/Ashura's influence. Same Goes with Sasuke who awakens the Rinnegan Eye due to the overabundance of Yin/Indra's Influence.

Look how Kishi is focusing on their respective Rinnegans.

Sasuke was given only Hagoromo's Yin chakra, if he had Yin Yang chakra of Hagoromo chakra then he would have double 6T Rinnegans. Madara got Indra's chakra (Yin chakra) and Ashura chakra (Yang chakra) to awaken Hagoromo's chakra (Yin Yang chakra). Naruto got Hagoromo's Yang chakra which gave Naruto Rikudo Senjutsu while Sasuke didn't get Senjutsu.

No! The bijuu favored Naruto before Hogo even showed up. So it was kinda a combined thing between Naruto the bijuu and Hogoromo was just alil icing for the cake that was already done. He split them up evenly, but the power was different because Naruto is a jin with strong body type to handle the greater power than a weaker body strong eyes Sasuke who has no bijuu and is not jin.

Blame Kishi for saying something as stupid as they are equal when we as observers can see who the stronger one is.

Their is a difference between Yin and Yang and Yin-Yang. Rinnegan needs Yin release and Yang release to awaken, but Yin-Yang Release is granted to those with the body of a Juubi Jinchuriki or have Rikudo Sage Mode..

I'm pretty sure the only thing that qualifies Sasuke as Yin-Yang release user is the fact that he used Six Path CT with Naruto.
