People misunderstanding of the gaiden leaves them to not see the dynamics behind sasuke, sakura and sarada. There are stuff we don't know about sasuke's journey. For example, how long does he stay in the other dimension and how long does he stay in his home dimension?
Not to mention it took him almost a decade for him to gain actual results for his mission post-Gokage meeting. Since there was no actual threat, nor any actual evidence of the threat existing. It begs the question why he never returned home for a day, or even an hour. Despite this, he can contact Naruto. We even see him in the regular dimension right before he was attacked by Shin.
So :lol
People also use the fact that sasuke didn't recognize sarada as a downside to him. What they seem to forget though is that he was recently attacked by a random uchiha that he didn't know existed. This would cause anyone to be a lil jumpy when they go to a secret location that they told the hokage to meet them at but instead you see someone with uchiha crest pop in.
I don't really think people take this too seriously, because most people know that he was wary of Uchiha's before. Though what people criticize is the fact that Sasuke didn't know what his daughter looked like until she screamed 'papa' about twice. Then again, Sasuke never actually had any bonding moments over a continuous time. So whether this is critical is not a big deal. IF Sasuke stayed home often and then forgot his daughter's face ... that would be a lot worse than this, for sure.
At the end, sakura wasn't leaning in for a kiss but instead a forehead poke. The scene was more meant to be humorous. Also, sasuke smiled at the end while gripping the lunchbox sakura made him showing that sasuke has found a new family and he is finally happy.
Not sure. It wasn't implied which one, though I don't really see the point. If any of this shows a happy family then we clearly have two separate views on what is realistic, and one created through horrible writing.
Sasuke and Sakura marriage was a lot different from Naruto and Hinata marriage. They more than likely eloped during there travels and while on there journey together sakura got pregnant with sarada and karin delivered her. Since sasuke wasn't done with what he was doing sakura went back to konoha with sarada and we know the rest.
Well the scan said that Sakura chased Sasuke, and then Karin later help gave birth to Sarada. So you either pick and choose.
Did she, chase Sasuke to get laid, and then they traveled together with Karin until she gave birth. Or, did they already do the deed, and then she went to chase Sasuke to show him the baby she was about to have with Karin's help.
Each choice is crappy in it's own right, the problem is, there's not enough evidence for either one to be factual. It's more or less open for interpretation with no given right answer.
I guess long story short for me gaiden made SS clear as day. People also have to realize that while Naruto protects his village as the hokage, Sasuke is protecting the world by figuring out everything about kaguya.
I agree to an extent, but Sasuke trying to protect the world from a higher being doesn't really account for much when:
It was just a hypothesis to begin with
The hypothesis was way off.
They failed to stop Momoshiki and Kinshiki from arriving in Earth
Killer Bee was almost killed
Naruto was taken
They needed the help of Naruto's team to decode the scroll
Sasuke didn't meet these 'threats' until a few years after the Gokage meeting.
I mean it's so much wrapped into one horrible written plot line :lol
P.s. the ootsuki are like orochimaru during the naruto series(not gaiden), unless they want to be found its nearly impossible to find them.
Makes the situation even worse considering there wasn't enough evidence to prove they were even real for a decade
