Temari would beat him but since she isn't in the village anymore she doesn't count.

Come on Belse, she wouldn't. One flick alone was enough to send her flying, imagine a going all out fight, poor Temari. Gaara is being underrated lately, the guy as a ton of feats, if he was mistreated, the ones to blame are the writers, exactly like Sakura was mistreated. :)

Not at all he peaked at the beginning of Part II.

And what did you expect? He lost his Bijuu. He got played by Deidara because half of his attention was focused on protecting the village and the other half fighting another long range S Class Ninja. Also he was nerfed, self imposed, but still nerfed.

Every other Jin went beast mode when they fought their Akatsuki member except Gaara. He had to protect the village and didn’t want to loose control and risk killing his people . Had they been in a barren desert I don’t think Deidara would have won (also Deidara’s fault because he didn’t bring enough clay)

Despite all that he still managed to contend with several previous Kage, helped stopped Madara from completely murdering everyone in the SA, aiding in stopping the 1st Meteor drop, went up against the Juubi, Helped the Bijuu in their fight against blind Madara.

What the hell are you guys expecting of him without his Bijuu? He still is Kage level. Stop comparing his power to the likes of god tier and he literally can take on half the NV on his own in any given battle. SMH :kk:
@bold Isn't the sand village sitting on a barren desert? :wut:

I think he means without the buildings and such because Gaara didn't want to risk destroying them and washing them all away like he did the forest back in Part I with Sabaku Taisō

Really? Which one of them do you think could beat him?

Other than that one pleb that was/is a ninja swordsman the other's can give him a run or possibly even best him.

Are you thinking Kurosutchi? I could see her beating him if she learned Oonoki’s weight altering trick in tandem with some of her own techs. She could really mess up his defense offense game. I think that would make and interesting match to be honest.

Beside her I’m not sure any of the others would win other than. Naruto of course.

Her iirc i think she was flying during her fight in turtle island(don't remember) also have 2 KKG's and good in taijutsu which is his weakness. Now the weighting boulder ability would be a good thing to have but don't think it's a factor but would give her the low dif win.

Also think Darui can put up a fight with him also. Might lose but would be close think all he lack is speed tbh.

Yeah I probably went too far saying he would 'merk' them but I think he could potentially beat any of them high diff with Kurotsuchi being the only one I believe would be able to beat him. It possibly hinges on if she knows the weight altering technique which is what Ohnoki used on her and Akatsuchi to allow them fly in the arc you're referring to. If I recall correctly she didn't do it on her own

Remember, Gaara expends more chakra the more he annimates sand that isn't infused with his own in his gourd. Against Deidara, it would be an endurance test so long as Deidara had clay to make bombs.

Yeah, I was just pointing out that Umari meant Gaara had to restrain from large scale techniques in that fight because he had to keep the village in mind which was why he made the 'barren desert' comment, and like he said, Deidara didn't bring enough clay to that fight so I believe if the villagers were removed from the equation and it became a battle of attrition, Gaara would possibly beat him even if he had to resort to drawing out Shukaku's power

Think Gaara would have won without Shukaku. Never understood what happened here [ ] Deidara wouldn't have the strength to shrug off the sand plus if he had used his free hand to create his bombs, they wouldn't have done squat to his sand [ ][ ]. All Gaara needed to do was pretty much hold him down, send some more of his gourd sand and sand coffin him. This was until i saw the db though.

It suggests he didn't want to kill Deidara which quite frankly makes no sense to me considering Gaara was actually wary since he saw the Akatsuki cloak on Deidara and why he enclosed himself in his egg shell in the first place.

Fully prepared Deidara vs Gaara is another matter though (which i think Gaara can still win) but if Gaara had his p1 bloodlust in that fight, Deidara would have been killed.

Oh ok, and what's up with all of this Gaara downplay? Is that the new trend or something?
