what? Sasuke is going against the man that gave him a couple power-ups (his story unlocked MS, his surgery gave him EMS). He decided to side the with Alliance because of Itachi. This is clearly shown in the flashback he has when he's making the decision. He stated he wanted to change the ninja system. That's his motivation, not power-ups. Yes, he wants to be more powerful than Naruto. However, that is not is only goal.

this exactly. Naruto gets praise because he is the Messiah despite the fact that this destroys all of the Part 1 themes. I like how sawyer7mage described it Naruto is getting praise because he is the main character.
I'm so tired of this. It's repeated every single chapter. It reminds me of when the Fourth was happy about Naruto every. single. chapter. For crying out loud, we get it! Naruto is awesome. Stop wasting entire chapters on this. You've hammered into out heads enough already.
