I understand naruto has to have a moment like this. Although it was a lame way imo for it to happen. Also i was pretty sure after the pein arc it was kind of in the air. Back on topic, they have all the characters looking at what is obviously as show that the 1st and 2nd seem to be marveling at. Along with the newly dubbed gokage!And yet no one see's sasuke putting in work along side him. This leads me to believe that sasuke will not even come close to being in a real talk for the hokage title. Kakashi will be the last piece in the final decision of how sasuke intends to live imo.

Its the fact that with naruto's kyubbi cloak everywhere and ino mind transfer jutsu connecting everyone, they are feeling whats in naruto's heart. All naruto's pain and happiness they are feeling it as if they are him.

Now if they took a look into sasuke's heart they would see nothing but anger, hatred,sadness, and probably regrets. if kishi people would learn about the truth about itachi, but something tells me that the one of the heroes of the leaf well remain forever a villain in the eyes of konoha's citizens.

Naruto is a star compared to Sasuke. Almost everyone in the Ninja-world is on his d*** and just loves him. After the war I wouldn't be surprised if most people hold a grudge towards Sasuke and he's shunned 10x worse then Naruto ever was.
