they should name it as DEATH RACE ZERO or THE DEATH RACE BEGINS.

I heard about it the other day when I was renting some movies. I never knew they would have made a new one
It never made it in theatres that's why no one heard of it
Most likely a low budget movie or the critics didn't like it and thought the movie didn't deserve to go to theatres (Probably wouldn't earn much money)

yeah you are right the movie is poorly made
but i still think that the story is very good and in theaters i am not so sure that lot of people would watch it
i mean luke goss isnt a very famous actor i think it was his first main role or did you notice that he played in balde and hellboy

Death Race 1 was an ok movie. It wasn't that spectacular. I don't know why they would try to make Death Race 2 without the same main cast... It looked lame though.
