Just because he says it doesn't mean he wants to. Just like with the 5 kages...he could easily teleport and kill them now, same with sakura, kakashi, and even genjutsu Naruto who has no tailed beast or breakage of his genjutsu atm.

I get the same feeling, unlike the first VotE fight he doesn't go straight to killing him, and unlike the Gokage Summit brawl he's not (completely) insane, he seems to have been warning him, if anything.

Words are not always literal he says he "Has to die" the same way Obi-Wan had to kill Anakin on Mustafar (except in reverse), just because he feels he needs to doesn't mean he wants to.

Well its not THAT obvious considering that he doesnt need naruto to undo the IT. Sasuke is the only ine with killing intent in this fight.
