Dhaka

Dhaka is part of Thunderbird Valley, the area of the Lightning Mountains between the Wadden Flats and the mountains proper. Dhaka is the maritime powerhouse of the Thunderbird Valley, its long coast dotted with fishing towns, ports and shipyards. Most of its inhabitants are in the shipping or the shipbuilding industry, if they are not fishermen. Paved roads lead to the rest of the region, passing through many smaller villages surrounded by fields. Though the region avoided mass-scale damage from the moon's shattering, it suffers from occasional star showers from the residual debris in the planet's orbit.

The group continues to move forward, Madara noting the many ships docked at the port. While they very well cpuld steal a ship to travel with, it would be easier for the group if they instead just continued to move across water. No need to waste resources when it wasn't required and as such, the group continued as they ran approached the bay.

Raditz continue to travel the Lightning Mountains before arriving to landmark of Dhaka. This landmark seemed to be more of a lively grassy landmark than the one from before while also being surrounded by boat ports and other ways to make money from the sea that was nearby. This didnt concern him. He didnt see anyone worth engaging in combat in order to further his plan of world domination so Raditz decided that he was going to continue to the next country.

Surely there would be some worthy warriors there either to recruit to his fold or to mow out of his path of goal of conquering the Ninja world. There wasn't a third option. Raditz wasnt going to back down and he wasn't going to let anyone destroy his dream. For that was his ninja way.

Leaving the landmark.

The story board elements included for this mission are as follows:

Build something for the Clan (1)

Summary: Building a new dock in town for Golden State to directly control.

The clan's expansion was necessary for it's survival. This piece of land was one that dealt with commerce whether it be shipbuilding, fishing, or just the transportation of goods. Owning this piece of land was crucial, the controlling what comes and goes into the Land of Lightning was a definite power move. Not to mention the marketplace in some adjacent lands over that relied on this landmark to be their steady income. If one controlled this town, they indirectly controlled the marketplace and everyone within it.

Symmetra began to survey the landmark noting the people, tools used and how they were used. Despite the bustling businesses and lively workers, like all commerce based towns, it was messy and disorganized. There was hardly any order to the way how people moved throughout this town. Constantly running into one another, overlapping work stations and the store placements themselves didn't make any sense. A ship manufacturing plant next to the fish market. The sooth from the smoke would likely coat the fish in some of the most foul tasting debris known to man.

The one thing Symmetra hated above all else was disorder. And in this town, the very existence of it would have driven her mad.

I will rebuild this town. Into something more suitable. But first... I have to see how bad things actually are. Symmetra stood on top of a balcony that overlooked the east side of town and there was still much more to explore. She hopped down from her perch and landed at the base of the building turning her back on the "hideous" part of town. She quickly moved through the crowds and headed towards the west side.

As she walked, people couldn't help but stare but it wasn't something Symmetra wasn't used to. She claimed it was her beauty and perfection that drew eyes to her. She had surpassed them in every way and they wanted to follow suit, as they should. In reality, it was horror. What walked passed these townsfolk was not human, not human in the slightest. Her horns and glowing golden eyes shook them to their core. They saw her as the devil himself walking through the town, cursing them with it's presence. Symmetra spoke as she walked, Your disorderly and disgusting town so far lacks beauty. It lacks everlasting beauty and order. What you see before you is the most beautiful thing in existence, Me. The ultimate life form. One who's body never withers nor tires. I don't hunger and I don't thirst. She turned her head to the townspeople behind her. Will you want to partake in this eternal beauty? Permanent Order? Unyielding authority over life itself? I am here to save those who want to be saved. And frankly those who don't want to be... they don't really have a choice. I lied. I'm here to save everyone period. She turned her head forward and began to walk into one of the many alleys that connected both sides of town.

The townspeople were shocked and confused by her speech, some didn't know whether to burst out laughing, to cry, to run away in fear, or just ignore her completely. Many of them begin to ponder the thought of everlasting beauty and the thought of not having to eat or sleep and their bodies lasting forever, The idea itself was tempting but was it really possible? That was yet to be seen.

Symmetra entered into the residential section of the town. It served as the polar opposite to the east side of town. The area was mostly clean, the buildings properly maintained and the streets were quiet. Was this really the same town? Symmetra took delight into this part of town. Everything was orderly, well kept and well thought out. This part of town was to be preserved at all costs in Symmetra's eyes. And that she did. She slammed her palm onto the ground and caused east side of town to immediately sink into 100 meters into the ground, destroying various ports in an instant as the ocean began to flow into the cavity, filling it up like nothing happened. You've been successfully saved, Symmetra said. Those on this side of town shall know order and salvation like no other. She began to further terraform the landscape using her earth chakra to replace the docks she's destroyed each of these marked with the insignia of Golden State. Many of the docks having arches over them also engraved with the Golden State insignia. The docs were perfectly symmetrical as all things should be.

These docs were made for Golden State. By Golden State. The reign of the Lightning Country will soon begin.

Jutsu used:

(Doton: Daichidōkaku) - Earth Release: Great Moving Earth Core
Type: Supplementary/Defensive
Rank: S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 40
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique grants the user the ability to freely lower or raise the terrain within a specific area surrounding them, in a similar manner to its parent technique, albeit on a much larger scale. The user will slam his hands on the ground which he can then lower or raise the ground up to 100 meters in a large section. The rise will be fast enough to pin enemies to the ground, restricting their movements as they struggle to get up and the drop will be fast enough to leave almost all enemies without a footing (albeit not airborne). Because of the large chakra needed to alter such a large area of the terrain, the user will be able to use it only a limited number of times.
Note: Can only be used twice.

(Doton no Jutsu) - Earth Release Technique
Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: D
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 10
Damage: 20
Descripton: Creates small pillars of earth, small tools, and small shields of earth

Mission End.

Symmetra began to look at her handy work. Satisfied with her work, she decided to move onto adjacent lands to continue to shape the surrounding areas in her image.

As Rhaenys gracefully stepped off the boat, she looked around. There was smoke on the horizon, dark cloud gathering above, seemingly unnatural for the usual climate of the land. Cracking her neck before walking on wards, she threw the backpack over her shoulder and walked towards the source of clouds.

Coming from

Arriving at Dhaka with the rest of the clan, Drogon lands as the trio of women descend from his back.

"We're almost here, perhaps we should walk the last leg of the journey and see what we can find out here. It's been quite some time since I've been this way," Daenerys spoke, walking slowly but gracefully as they marched towards Khulna.

Coming from here

This post marks the beginning of my mission using these storyboard elements:
Rescue children that were captured by bandits while Trick or Treating (4)

Summary: On his way to solve a riddle, Ryuu arrives in Dhaka, where he notices a group of children being kidnapped. Eager to help, he goes after the bandits, eventually rescuing the children from them...

By the time Ryuu reached this place, it was evening. Only little light remained from the last bit of sunrays as the sun dipped further down the horizon. Night was fast approaching, and Ryuu knew he had to find somewhere to stay for the night. To travel alone at night was to be a fool. Also, the shore that he walked upon was littered with ports and shipyards, and that kind of creeped him out. And so, the boy decided to head off towards the nearest village, so that he could perhaps find a kind person offering shelter. However, as he started towards the village, the boy heard a sound. It was low and muffled, but it definitely sounded like a cry for help. Tuning his ears, Ryuu heard the sound again, in the voice of a child. However, he could not make out any words.

Scanning the direction of the sound with his Byakugan, Ryuu immediately noticed that there was movement in a shed just a few metres from the water. There were multiple small boats in there, and from what Ryuu could tell, they all looked run down. It was probably a place to deposit old boats. So what were people doing in there? Looking even harder, Ryuu noticed that there were two men in the shed, and they appeared to be tying ropes around a group of 3 kids, whom appeared to be around 7 years of age. Certainly, the children did not look like they were having fun at all. Ryuu could also see that they were dressed in costumes and had bags in their hands; looked like they had been trick or treating before something unfortunate had befallen them. Also, he could see now why the voices he had heard before were muffled; the children had cloths tied over their mouths, and they were trying to protest. They also appeared to have been crying. This was definitely suspicious. Ryuu decided to get closer.

Now behind the shed, Ryuu continued to look through the walls with his Byakugan. Judging from the way they were dressed, the men looked like fishermen. They were rough with children and seemed to be in a hurry. Obviously they would not want to get caught. Instead of helping the frightened children immediately, Ryuu listened to the men speak in order to comprehend what was going on before taking any rash action. Come on, let's go already! Luke should be informing the parents by now! That fool better not stuff up. I want full ransom for these brats. Sheesh, stop moving so much! One of the kids, a boy, winced as the man hit him in the back of the head. Ryuu himself grimaced, promising to teach these men a lesson later.

Don't worry, when they hear their precious babies will be dropped into the ocean, they'll give their whole life savings! The man laughed wickedly, amused with himself, whilst the kids looked at each other in horror. They looked too young to swim in the ocean, and even if they knew how to, they would definitely not be able to do so with the ropes around them. Ryuu would definitely have to intervene at some point, but for now, it was better to wait for an opportunity. He did not have to wait long for things to start rolling, for just moments later, the men dragged one of the boats out onto the water. One climbed in to keep it steady whilst the other went to get the children. The boat was old and rickety looking, and was so small that when the man eventually hauled the two boys and the girl in, they all barely just fit. Geez, what were they thinking? The men started rowing, going further into the ocean.

Not wanting to keep a distance between him and the kids, Ryuu performed the Tiger hand seal, controlling the reflections of light around his body to make him appear as invisible. Then he quietly stepped onto the surface of the water, channeling chakra into his feet to keep him from falling in. Running, Ryuu steadily kept up with the boat, always staying a bit behind it. He could see the frightened expressions on the children's faces, and when one of them tried to undo the ropes, one of the men made the knot even tighter, making the child yelp in pain. Ryuu hoped it was not too tight as to stop the child's blood flow; on close inspection, it luckily was not. But he did know that it was painful...

(Meisaigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding with Camouflage Technique
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (-10 per turn active)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This is a ninja escape technique that allows the user after performing the Tiger hand seal to control how light is reflected around their body with chakra inflections. The technique also erases the user's scent and shadow, and is usable on any terrain, making it ideal not only for covert maneuvers but also offensive strikes. Perceiving the user's position is possible only for ninja who are astute enough to observe minute variations within their surrounding environment, such as distortions of air currents in the immediate vicinity or distinguishing sounds, i.e. footsteps etc. However, the usefulness of this ability can be entirely negated by those with special vision or sensory skills. The Second Tsuchikage, Mū's mastery of this technique helped earn him the moniker "Non-Person" seemingly having neither form nor chakra while the technique was active. Thus, he could not be sensed through traditional means.
Note: Technique lasts a total of 3 turns
Finally, when the boat was around a kilometre into the ocean, it stopped. Wondering why, Ryuu's answer was given as the men on the boat squinted their eyes towards the shore and spoke. Looks like Luke did his job well. The man sounded genuinely impressed, as if this Luke person was always prone to stuffing up or something. Looking at the shore himself too, the boy noticed that there was now a medium sized crowd of adults on the shore, looking rather worried and distressed. Of course they would be, he thought, considering there were children kidnapped here. Some looked like they were crying even, and Ryuu could faintly hear their voices over the sounds of the ocean. The sounds were further intensified when one of the men picked up one of the boys, and held him up high over the side of the boat. It would be obvious to anyone on shore that the boy was about to be thrown into the ocean.

That did it. Ryuu could not handle this any longer. Coming up quietly behind the boat, he swiftly put his arms around the man holding the boy, putting him into a headlock. Startled, and choking, the man quickly released his grip of the boy. The bound boy fell into the water, but as he did, his feet caught onto the side of the boat, sending it capsizing. This caused everyone in the boat to fall into the water beneath the boat, and so Ryuu's grip on the man was released. Still standing atop the water, Ryuu looked down into the water with his Byakugan. The two men seemed to be fine, as they were surfacing quickly, even putting the boat back upright. Oh, the kids are still under the water... The other man was visibly irritated at being soaked, and spat, Who cares about them? Let them drown then! Luke''ll already have the money by now anyways! Feeling angry, Ryuu punched the man in the face before diving into the water. The man, looking very shocked at having being seemingly punched by the air, touched his face where the punch had landed, as if trying to confirm whether it was real or not.

Locating one of the children, Ryuu swam towards her as quickly as he could. Upon reaching her, Ryuu quickly hoisted her onto his back, letting her surface to breathe air. Keeping her above the surface on his back as he then swam, the boy quickly grabbed the two boys who were quite close by, letting them breathe as well. Somehow dragging all the children while he swam (one on his back, and one in either of his arms), Ryuu swam back up the boat, which was upright. The two men sat in it, still looking confused at where the blow had come from. Well, they were about to be even more confused now.

For, shaking the boat around a bit, Ryuu managed to capsize it again, making the men fall right back into the water. Ryuu smiled at their expressions. Putting the boat back upright then, Ryuu quickly hoisted the frightened children back in. However, it appeared that the boat had reached the end of its life, for once the children were seated in it, a creaking sound could be heard, before the wood started to splinter apart. Water started gushing into the boat, and the soaked children, still looking as frightened as ever, started squealing. Not only were they scared for their lives, but also the fact that some 'invisible' force had carried them to safety was more scary that comforting for them. Ryuu felt rather sympathetic for them, hoping this whole ordeal would be over and done with soon.

But unfortunately, things were not so easy. The men who had been thrown underwater came back up as quickly as ever. They were angry, and they were going to target the closest thing, or things, that they could find. Which was of course, the children. Leaping up besides the crumbling boat, the men talked to each other about just letting the kids drown and swim back to shore themselves. So when each of the men took a child each and held them underwater in order to drown them, with just one scared child frantically trying to stay on the boat, Ryuu ran over, kicking both the men in their chests. Once again, they were shocked and let the children down, prompting Ryuu to get them back again. But now, instead of taking them back to the boat again, he held onto them, as the boat was in ruins. The last child desperately tried to stay afloat, and started to sink, before Ryuu quickly grabbed him too.

The men were highly freaked out by this time, first by the blows they had received, and secondly, by the fact that the children were 'magically' moving around, even though they were tied up. The look of horror on their faces was enough to make Ryuu laugh, had it been possible for him. They then talked to each other in low voices, before making a marathon sprint for the shore. Ryuu smiled, clearly amused. However, the kids were still clearly terrified. They were struggling, trying to get out of Ryuu's grasp. However, knowing they would drown if not for this invisible 'force', they soon stopped, allowing themselves to be carried back to shore with the still invisible Ryuu. Ryuu also untied their ropes, easing their pain. By the time they all made their way back, Ryuu could see that the two men had been caught by the villagers and were being beat up. Clearly, the adults thought that the children had really drowned. Well, the men were getting what they deserved.

So when the people saw the children on the shore, stunned and soaked, their jaws dropped, and all but a few ran over to them. It seemed like a thousand questions were being asked of the children, but they were too shocked to talk. Luckily, it appeared the children were not injured much, and so they could be looked after at home. Ryuu, tired out by this whole ordeal, quietly sneaked away. No one ever had to know that he had saved the children; he was content with it being that way. Recently, he felt that he had been getting too much attention, and frankly, the socially awkward boy was not too happy about that. And so he made his way back towards a foresty looking area, leaving the men with the villagers to be dealt with. Not wanting to see any more people for the time being, the Hyūga was quite content to just curl up on the forest floor and sleep the rest of the night away...

Coming from #258, Haran Bay.

As Shayde arrived at the port of Dhaka, several fishermen took note of his arrival, then grunted dismissively, and continued their work, as though it was a common occurrence. Conversely, Shayde was hit with the heavy smell of fresh fish, and other delicacies of the sea. Taking a moment to get his bearings, Shayde listened to the hustle and bustle of the port as countless tradesmen tried to sell their wares. One such fisherman was claiming to be selling fresh Sea King, one of the rarest, and apparently the most delicious sea food in all the world, because it was near impossible to catch, being the literal Kings of the Sea. Chuckling to him self as the seafood was no doubt not an actual Sea King, Shayde pressed on through Dhaka, and towards the unknown.

Leaving Landmark.

This post marks the start of my mission containing the following storyboard elements:

-Take part in a physical Trial
-Fight an individual of comparable strength

Strix had arrived in Dhaka with little interference, many of the townsfolk more concerned with their own business than seeing a stranger enter and thus she had no trouble passing through. Looking down at the map, Strix found a path thanks to the topography straight to the vaults location and upon arrival, she found that there was nothing but a flat open plain.

You must be registered for see images

Strix double checked her map to see what was wrong, but by all accounts there was meant to be a map here, surely the map wasnt wrong, it was found in the previous vault. It was strange to consider, so Strix climbed to the top of a nearby hill to look down at the valley to see if it gave any view and hints as to what was there, and thats when she saw it. The paths that ran around the valley itself were carved into the ground, that actually were the symbol of the vault itself, the upside down v in a ring. Hopping down to see the path, she followed it around to see if she could find any other clues to the entrance. No doubt the vault was here but the first trial was getting into it. The last Vault was easy, it was directly shown how to get into it simply by touching it and it reacted to her unique Cosmic Chakra, perhaps this would be the same, but where would the entrance be if it was on the floor? Would it completely drop out or would it just open up or create a new entrance somehow, there was only one way to find out. After completely walking around to see there was no other way to enter or find a way in, Strix took a deep breath and touched her hand down on the floor, remembering the feeling she felt in the Frozen Vault in the north and pushed her chakra out through her arm into the ground. Instead of pushing a blasting wave out, she released it slowly as a wave of energy instead pushing it into the ground and feeling the cracks and grooves in the ground that was the symbol. Eventually her chakra connected back to itself completely outlining the symbol of the Vault and there was massive grinding noise as her chakra began to shine brightly not from her own doing but the vaults symbol glowing beneath it.

Type: Supplementary/Offensive/Defensive
Rank: B-S (B)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 20-40 (-15 per turn) (20)
Damage: 40-80 (40)
Description:
One basic application of Cosmic Chakra is able to manipulate it into several different properties. Depending on the Drive form the user is in, depends on what application can be used. Should the user be in no drive form, but call upon their cosmic chakra, they can only produce such things as blasts or waves from their body. Simple and unrefined bursts called forth from the accompanying movement, where it follows the body. These blasts and surges only last for the the moment of the attack, not going beyond the turn used. When in the basic first Drive Form, the user is capable of create more complex constructs, creating walls, golems, creatures etc. These constructs while they can be launched from the body, cannot move on their own unless given the appropriate movement from the user. They last for 2 turns on the field, capable of being more advanced than the base form. When the user has mastered their Final Form, the user can create more advanced constructs. These techniques are created and made from cosmic chakra but additionally given the unique proporties having the flexibility to change form/shape should the user desire. This is not limited to the users Cosmic chakra, but can create constructs that can move about on their own, for 3 turns. This is not to be confused with sentience but instead given "direct orders" eg, "attack here" or "defend me" etc.

With the earth shifting and rumbling, Strix hopped back to the outside of the circle as the V began to tilt, heading down into a cave below the earth itself like a ramp down into the Vault below. There was a faint dim glow from inside that could be seen, but it was deep down below, but Strix' instincts told her it wasnt a lamp or torch light source. As she decended into the Vault, the was dips and drops that seemed to go further and deeper underground before she came upon a long corridor that led to a door down ahead. It seemed a little too easy, for it be straight forward like that. The last vault was in the middle of a freezing blizzard that had been covered by a massive thick sheet of ice, there had to be a challenge or trial to stop protect this vault. Strix cautiously began walking down when she began noticing the holes on the wall. she was only 5m deep in the corridor that was about 50m when she her a click, the tile below her foot shift and a rumbling behind the walls on either side of her. Strix barely had a moment to react before there was a spout of flame coming from either side of her. Throwing up her hands instinctivly, she projected more waves of Cosmic Chakra that protected her, but it wouldn't last for long. Breaking into a run, she began sprinting down the corridor, as more clicks and more attacks began coming from the walls. She dipped and ducked, throwing out more Cosmic Chakra waves to slow the incoming assault of Flames, needles, Zaps of lightning, Spikes of Ice and Earthen Boulders. The further she got the more her movements, she realized, became more instinctual, almost feeling a deja vu of having done this before. Was this another memory she was feeling, something a past Siren ancestor had done? As she reached the end, she looked back on the corridor, seemingly having nothing changed like it was just waiting for her, no trace of the trial she just had ran through.

Taking a moment to catch her breath, Strix wondered if these protections were to keep others out, or to test Sirens of their abilities. She noticed that almost all of the attacks that were thrown at her had to do with elements in some way. She had studied the ninjutsu, and knew there were 5 elements, all of which seemed present then. Either way she shook her head and looked towards her next trial which seemed to be getting past an enormous statue that was standing in the doorway to the next room. Looking at the monstrosity, the stone golem looked like a strange design as it wasnt exactly human but had human features like two arms and two legs and a head with a face.

You must be registered for see images

As she approached and touched the golem, her chakra seemed to activate it, as it began glowing the same colour as he own chakra. A voice suddenly boomed out from the golems mouth, no sign of its mouth moving.

Greetings Siren. I am here to test your strength and your resolve. You must beat me to pass.

Without a further word, Strix didnt have much time to react before it threw a huge stone fist towards her. It cracked the ground with its strength, Strix taking care not to move too far back to step onto the traps from the corridor. She needed to think of a way to beat this Golem, wondering how to get past its massive bulky frame. Waiting for it to move, it seemed to remain stationary not moving from its position, but still glowing with energy. As Strix moved closer, attempting to run up towards it, it lashed out once again, punching towards strix, as she spun out the way, its fist sending out another crash echoing down the stone corridor behind her. Placing a hand on its chest up close before it could wind back its fist again, she pushed with her chakra, sending a blast of her Cosmic Chakra. The blast pushed the Golem as she felt it resist, however it was somewhat successful, pushing it back a step.

You will need more strength than that young Siren...

Strix jumped back as a fist came swinging forwards to her head, missing by inches, thankfully, one blow from it and she would be feeling it. The golem was right, this was a test of strength as well, but in a different way. While the corridor may have been a test of metal strength, this was a test of physical strength, being able to push back the golem into the next room. Strix breathed, looking to calm herself before rushing in for another blow. The golem swung with its fist, as this time she would place her hand up, and push out Cosmic Chakra as a wave to push the fist back to give her more time, and get close. Placing a hand on the chest, she pushed again, as hard as she could, the blow staggering back to golem once more, almost completely in the room now.Seeing an opportunity to push further once again, Strix knew that if she couldnt push it on this, the fist from the golem was going to hurt as it struck her. Placing her other hand on the golems chest, she used both of them to channel her cosmic chakra into the golem's chest, praying it would be enough, using all her strength in desperation. As if by divine providence, it felt as if another third hand was placed upon hers as it push out chakra as well, and Strix swear she saw a tinge of red within her own purple chakra blast. The voice once again...

You are on the right path young one....

The voice seemed familiar, something he had heard long ago. the memory was fuzzy but Strix didnt have time to dwell on it as she pushed all the chakra she could on the golem, aided by the third hand unknown to her, the golem was blasted back, staggering 5 or 6 steps as it entered the room.

It froze before slumping into a neutral standing position, and speaking once more, its eerie mouth not moving as it spoke.

Congratulations young Siren. You have passed the test of strength, you may have access to the Vault.

As it said and finished, it began to walk to the entrance of the room, standing and overlooking its doorway. Beyond the arch it was guarding, Strix could see a blue light glowing in the middle of a room, its circular table underneath it holding it up.

This post marks the start of my mission containing the following storyboard elements:

- Investigate the history of a landmark
- Deal with a problem in a tactical manner, instead of through direct confrontation

Apprehensively approaching the table in the middle, Strix was curious about what this glowing blue orb of light was hovering on the table, seemingly looking like it had a heartbeat, softly thumping and increasing its light every so often to a rhythm. The closer she got, the more she was drawn to it, once again feeling a familiar feeling of having been here before without actually knowing why. Was this something to do with her clan once again, like a flash of a memory once been, that she had never done before. Trying to concentrate, she closed her eyes and reach out her hand and placed it on the blue orb. She could feel something, like a warmth, a familiar touch but it wasnt from someone she knew, but somehow undeniably familiar, almost family. Strix had been so focused on the orb itself that she hadn't noticed the figure that was perched in the upper corner, sitting almost like a gargoyle camouflaged in with the stone background. When Strix had entered it was woken from its hibernation and watched carefully the intruder in its masters tomb, where it had promised to stand guard. Tilting its head, this was only the 3rd person to ever get past the golem, and again it was a woman. Something struck the creature as it looked down, causing a glimmer of hope quickly erased by confusion then anger. Along her arm, she had the same tattoos and markings that its master had upon her shoulders.

Whooooo..... issss.... this woman....chk..chk...

Kha'Zix had thought to itself to kill the woman instantly before she even knew it was there, but watched out of curiosity, there was something familiar about her, outside of the markings on her arm. Perhaps he would watch and wait.

Strix had placed her hand on the orb and a voice spoke in her head, not aloud that echo'ed around the chamber but directly in her head. The familiar voice, once again she had heard outside in the chamber against the golem, and a vague memory of years ago she couldn't remember what it said.

Welcome child, you have found my sanctuary, the last place before I passed on the gift, the power of the Cosmos. You, Strix of Pergamon are the 4th incarnate of me, Nyriad. A daughter of the Sirens, a Witch, an Angel, we have many names and all of them cursed, feared, or revered. This tomb is my resting place, where I chose for my spirit to remain while my powers passed on, and where I will share the knowledge written on these walls.

Although she couldnt see it, Strix felt like she was directed to the wall on her left, noticing now a carving within the wall, and walking over upon closer inspection she saw a woman standing upon a hill. Below the woman, was several face that looked to be praising the woman while the sun shone from behind her. within the background were four wings and a halo around her. It was curious, as Strix placed her hand upon it and Cosmic chakra exited her body and was sucked into the picture, making it animated, the sun shining, the wings fluttering and the woman looking up to the sky through her halo.

This feels...familiar, I can feel the suns warmth, I remember the people chanting, I can hear them...

Yes Child, we were there, for that is my, the first time the people worshipped us and we began to come known as Nyriad the Angel. We had stopped a great blazing creature that had come from below the earth, almost destroying the town. When we had defeated the creature tossing it into the ocean, we had to stop the town from becoming engulfed in flames, infact, many years ago, that tiny town was one of the ports in this landmark itself.

Strix could feelt it, the memory coming to her, with the burnt remains of the village smouldering but mostly untouched, only the lumber mills on the edge of town close to the forest that was charred having sustained the most damage. She could feel a swell of pride as they chanted and cheered for her, ash in the air, mixed with the seasalt, her body tired from the fight but feeling accomplished.

I can.. I can feel it... see it! The crowds, my body tired from the fight... the burns on my body.

Yes, it was this first victory that gained my following, and where I started the legacy of the Sirens. They called my an angel from their folklore tales, because I had sprouted wings to fight the massive beast. The next wall, shows how our clan got started.

Walking to the wall that was directly behind the table Strix observed the scene.

Meanwhile Kha'Zix was having internal trouble deciding what to do, somehow attacking the intruder felt wrong, but it had given its loyalty to it's previous master.

The next wall depicted 4 woman standing next to each other, a ball above them and all of them having different tattoos and markings with lines of energy converging on the orb.

My sisters, fellow Sirens. After discovering another with similar powers to mine, we stuck together, and agreed to find more with powers similar powers and to forma group, a sisterhood to stay together. I still remember her name, Lilith, then we met Maya, and Amara. There were four of us, and we could solve anything.

As Strix placed a hand on the wall, once again her chakra lit up the picture to cause the orb to glow and rotate as the energy from the women flowed into it. Each one a different colour, red for Nyriad, Purple for Maya, a Light Blue for Ava and Navy for Amara. She could feel the picture once again, with a familiar scent of sea, this time she could feel the town around her was rebuilt, developed into a fishing port. It was the same one that had been under attack in the last picture. Dhaka seemed to have a history with being a fishing port now thanks to Nyriad protecting it with her sisters. As strix moved on to the last wall, she had a sudden strange feeling she wasnt alone. There was another presence within the walls that wasnt her or the spirit, that caused her to look around. She couldnt see anything except the soft glowing orb. Shaking it off she turned to the last wall, that depicted Nyriad before a great beast, four legged as it breathed fire at her and her shielding herself in an orb. As before she once again placed her hand on the final picture and saw the wall carving come to life, as the beast breathed a fire at Nyriad and her ancestor leaping into the beast.

Ah yes, my fall, and last stand. It was at this point when I fought the great Eridian Beast, it would be my last battle. A creature form from some strange chakra and ninjutsu creation it had an enormous resistance to chakra, able to fully eat most anything thrown at it. My sisters who had travelled to other lands to care for problems while I stayed here in Dhaka. The beast rose from the mountain, in this very plain and thus why this tomb was originally created for its creation. The source of our power is the Cosmos compressed into a tiny little seed, that is within each of us. This gives us our powers, effectively the entire cosmos at our disposable. While the Eridian Beast may have been able to devour anything, it still had a limit to how much. I forced it to swallow me, and while inside the beast I unleashed everything I had, which cost me to lose most of my power. With the last of my strength I created this tomb and its guardians to protect its secrets. I see now my successor has come once again.

Something was off, Guardians... Strix had fought only one so far, and now it all made sense the second presence that Strix had felt. With a seconds notice something had dropped on top of her, while it took a swipe at Strix neck with an elongated claw.

Youuu... shouldnt be hereee.... chk..chk...

It looked insect like, and a voice that appropriately matched it with clicks and reverbing voice like an insect chirp, as it lunged once again towards Strix causing her to throw up a hand to erupt a barrier of Cosmic Chakra. The claw clashed with it, causing it to stop immediately, and clicking looking towards the barrier.

Another Sssssiren....chk..chk...

Im here as part of my clan, you serve them do you not?

The firefly jumped upwards in a flash, its speed incredible, appearing on the other side of Strix while it took another swipe at its isolated prey.

I answer only to the master, She is the only one....chk..chk....

Strix needed to think of a way to stop this creature, it was clearly much faster than her, and also a relic of her past life, she had more questions she wanted to ask it.

I am the next incarnate of Nyriad, you will obey me!

Strix yelled at the creature, sounding much braver than she felt, and praying that it may listen at the call of its masters name.

You may have her mark, but you do not look like her, you are not her!

The creature backed away, melding into the shadows and seemingly disappeared. This wasn't good, Strix tried to concentrate to listen to the sounds of the creature walking around. Something click clacked on the right of her, his footsteps as it walked around. Strix thought about what she could do. It was risky, and she didnt want to cause a collapse, but it might be the only way. Compressing her Cosmic chakra into her palm, she slammed it down on the floor causing a small wave of chakra to push everything back and with a sharp thump, she felt her chakra hit the creature as it crept behind her, throw it back into the wall.

No... What... My masters... touch... chk..chk...

It hesitated giving a Strix an opportunity to turn it to her cause.
My name is Strix of Pergamon, and you will obey me. I am the incarnate of your master Nyriad, and your loyalty lies with me. Follow me or be left here in the tomb forever...

Strix once again bluffed, hoping that everything she had picked up might be able to sway the creature to follow her without having to fight it.

The creature hesitated, weighing up his options. Either more chance to get out of the tomb and protect the newest incarnate of Nyriad, or to wait here till the next one comes along. The previous Incarnates never invited him... only leaving him here alone...

Very well young one, I will come along with you, as my master. I will follow.... chk..chk...

Strix smiled, letting out a little breath thankful that the creature could be made to her the better option. She had ended the fight without having to destroy or fight the creature, and thankfully, there was no blood shed.

As Strix left the tomb carefully, Xiaoyu crawled from her cape and whispered in her ear.

Excuse me miss, the officials at Shimogakure wish to speak to you. We should go immediately.

Strix paused for a moment, and moved forwards, heading back to her home lands.
