Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.
Get up close near my clone, then proceed to use the tanto to hit him many times, anyway you want. Silly technique really. >_>

Don't think I can, I was not taught in them. But I think I can give you a brief talk about them. We'll get to those when we finish standard Kenjutsu. ^^
I close my eyes, place my left foot forward and my right foot behind me. I lift my sword above my head and at an angle so that my two hands, whilst holding the sword, is next to the side of my face. I then run towards your clone and as I near his location and within distance, I make one slash towards the ground so that the dirt that is picked up goes towards the direction of your face. Using the momentum of the slash and whilst channeling chakra into the blade, I spin around in the air a bit and repeatedly slash your clone. Like a tornado, the pressure from the barrage of slashes pushes your clone back eventually and causes it to disperse. I then land gracefully and place the tanto back into its hilt behind my back. I then look at you to tell you something.
"My apologies on its simplicity, sensei. It isn't such a silly technique but rather straightforward. This is a nice one to know since I like carrying this tanto with me."
I smile and await a response.
Would it require you more to place an explosive tag on an opponent as you spin/slash? I was thinking that with a good perception or skill one could pull that off. That or I could try applying the tag after I finish the slashes. Oh and can you use 2 tantos with this or does it have to be just one?
"You missed a few things, like what are the pros and cons, what other things can you tell me about it? And what is your personal opinion about the technique?"

Being so close you would be in the cross fire of your on idea, you'd get hurt along side your opponent, but if you are willing to do that, it can work yes. Yeah, you could probably use two tanto's that would be a nice combo.
Alone, the technique is pretty straightforward in that it is just you spinning with your tantō, slashing the enemy. I am not sure but if you are quick witted you can duck long enough to let the technique pass and do a kick to trip the opponent or jump back far enough to avoid it. It is an okay technique but the problem with it is that while you are spinning you sort of lose focus on what is going around you since you are spinning which could leave an opening for the enemy. I assume that the blade is out and forward so if you threw a tool as he is spinning he wouldn't be able to dodge it fast enough or efficiently as opposed if he had slashed you head on. I keep thinking of this technique like a top. You leap in the air and slash while you are spinning in the air at an angle.
As for my opinion on it, for the first tanto technique to learn it is quite bland. It's not exactly great but it ain't that bad. I would use it. Hrmmm...I could use this in a combo with the Fury Swallow Technique you showed me earlier.I could do the punches, slash, then quickly pull out my tanto and with both swords I would do the spinning motion and do like a double slash. Not bad.
