Decay pertains to the natural deterioration rate of any given substance or energy, transforming it from one thing to another, generally related byproducts, using some sort of decaying agent. These agents can be biological, chemical, physical, etc, such as a specific type of compound, bacteria, enzyme, etc. Ibiton is the ability to use chakra, albeit a specialized and advanced chakra, to mimic the effects of these agents, taking control of the decaying rate of any substance that comes in contact with the techniques.

It is obtained by using Fire and Lightning, the first for it's transformation of matter into energy, the latter for being an energy known for it's destructive power. Both work together to amplify and take control over the decaying rate of the substances and energies they come in contact with.

The main release summons raw burst of flame-like chakra, colors revolving around gold and black. The flames will accelerate the decay rate of whatever they come in contact with, and have a largely parasitic property to them, as they require only a partial touch, for they will spread through the structure automatically. Against an opponent, it burns as if fire, provoking burn wounds varying from 1st degree to 3rd degree.

The Specific release calls forth the lightning ability to because sort of tangible, create solid structures with the same decaying properties as the above, decaying structures that touch them or are trapped within them. They have a pale golden color with black hue.

The Advanced release is the ability to affect different compounds that make up a structure differently. This selective decay action allows the user to focus on affecting only certain substances while leaving others intact.

Water and Earth, and most of its CE variations
Crystals and Crystaline Releases
Non-Radioactive Metals
Void is completely immune to decay

Is strong against:
Fire and Lightning as well as any CE variation of both
Energy based CEs

Description:
The user does 2 hand seals (Boar+Ram) and releases his Decay Chakra into the field all around him up to mid range, unleashing a gold glow momentarily upon activation. Using the advanced release of Ibiton, the user is able to specifically decay only paper, writing ink and small amounts of metal (normal metal from kunais and shurikens and other normal weapons) that when entering mid-range from the user, crumble away into dust. Any Tag, Scroll, Shuriken, Kunai, etc present on the field crumbles into nothing as long as the technique is active, rendering the use of techniques that require such medium impossible.
Note: Pertains to Scrolls and Paper Tags such as those used for various Fuuinjutsu (like explosive Tags or even FTG tags on Kunais, sealing scrolls, weapon scrolls, etc) and Ninjutsu. Because the rank of such techniques is determined not by the scroll/paper/tag used but by the technique that comes from it, all uses of such scroll and paper bound techniques are negated regardless of rank of the technique that will come from them.
Note: The technique also affects any Kunai, Shuriken, Sword, etc made of the normal metal we find in most common weapons in Narutoverse (excluding, off course, Custom Weapons and the 7SM Swords). Once exposed on the field to the Decay Chakra all around, they crumble away into dust through the normal oxidation process most metals go through, rendering them useless.
Note: Only works on Konan's Paper Ninjutsu up to B-Rank.

Ok, this one is fairly simple. Using the advanced release, you release an invisible "aura" of chakra all around you that spans up to mid-range. Within this aura, FTG Kunais, Kunais, Shuriken, paper tags, sealing scrolls, scroll based techniques (regardless of rank), won't be usable. As soon as one of the aforementioned targeted substances comes in contact with the aura, it decays into dust/crumbles away. Specifically targeted against space time users as well as Fuuinjutsu masters and weapon play specialists, this technique is a great defense against many techniques that are otherwise very dangerous. However, it comes with a handicap. Because a scroll, kunai, etc isn't infused with your chakra, this technique won't differentiate your own scrolls and kunais from the enemies. So, while this technique is active, don't take such materials and use them as once you get them out of your clothes/tattoos, etc they will be decayed.

The description doesn't prevent it so its left up to you. If you describe you focus it directly into a given direction you can. However, you'll be wasting the "omni protection" the technique offers, since the technique once activated lasts for 4 turns. So, imagine you project the aura in front of you...it will continue active until deactivated or 4 turns pass. This means it will be a pain to manage it in battle, even if possible. Just be careful with that issue and its ok.

Just be careful with that issue and its ok.
For example, if there aren't any tattoos stated in the bio, and most of the ones stated are only for their summon contract, then one momentous burst of decay should be enough to get the opponent rid of any scroll, tag or kunai in play. But I'll try to be smart about it.

These constructs, translucid and golden with a slight black hue in them, can be used to defend or attack. They can be created only Short-Mid range around the user but they can be thrown further. The user can control the movement of the constructs with or without the need for hand gestures, depending on the distance he is from them (Short range, no handgestures, Mid range requires hand gestures). Although hazardous to the enemies and anything present in the battlefield, the user can touch and interact with these constructs freely, taking advantage of their inherent properties to his own advantage. These constructs, if kept in short range, last until either dispelled or countered, making it a good choice to create weapons or defensive shields.
Note: Usable 5 times per battle.
Note: Creates only 1 item per use.

Ok this is a basic technique. A tool technique as the name says. Its main use is to support you while still providing both attack and defense.

The use of the advanced release of Ibiton means that the constructs and things you can build and create with this technique have solid properties and have a certain..."mass" allowing for them to be used as defensive walls against attacks but also as projectiles for attacks. Upon contact, the enemy with experience pain and a burning sensation as his flesh melts and is decayed. Since these are made from your chakra however, you can interact with them without suffering any of these effects. For example, you can create a disk beneath your feet to raise you and fly around the field supporting yourself in it. Or to produce a weapon to wield. The possibilities are endless. Not only that but this basic technique can withstand up to S-Rank Fire, Lightning, Dust, Storm and any energy based CE (Light, Kinetic, Quake, etc) or radioactive material (Erbium, Francium, etc).

Sounds cool. Now, how will these stand in terms of tangibility? Sames an iron shield/sword? In terms of speed? Short Ranged? Mid range gets slower? Would I be able to create a set of arrows connected by a small thread and then break the thread so I get 10 arrows from one usage? Would I be able to shoot the arrows (without the bow) at the same speed as if I had shot a normal arrow?

You can only build one construct per use. So you can build one arrow...but not multiple ones and not the bow at the same time.

These appear at high speeds and are thrown and moved around at the speeds that you can throw a kunai.

And if I them near a bow or some thrower like that, will I be able to coat it by charging my chakra or will the arrow/projectile decay the bow?

Sorry, wasn't here last night. Well as much as i want to say you can, if you make a decay arrow and try to shoot it with a normal bow, it will decay the bow. The arrow won't harm you but it will harm anything that isn't designed to hold it or be used with it.

Basically, the tecnique wasn't designed to be used like that. And if you want i can log in for a little bit.

The user must only be aware that he's being affected by something harmfull to activate the technique. Doing the Rat handseal the user "wills" his decay chakra to search for harmfull toxins, poisons, isotopes, venoms, etc that might be affecting him in a negative manner and decays them into harmless biproducts, even to a molecular level if needed. While usefull when fightning Poison users such as medical ninjas, its also very very useful when fightning against users of radioactive elements (since the isotopes that are the core component of radiation are easily decayed, this technique can easily tear them apart, basically, decaying the "fuel" of radiation and thus, stopping it) or when, in general, fighting for long periods of time or in long skirmishes, were stamina and endurance is important. By focusing the Decay Chakra into his body, the user may also target toxins produced by his own body such as lactic acid produced from muscle activity. This enables the user to fight against the effects produced by such substances and creates a great resistant to pathogens. This technique may also be used to target harmfull organisms such as bacteria or fungus as well as virus, that may be inducing a pathogenic state on the user. The user can also, even if in a smaller scale and effect, use this technique on others through direct physical contact. When doing so, the effects are momentary, unlike when used on ones self. This means that if the ally has the "aggressive agent" cleaned from his system but has contact with it again, the technique needs to be used once more.

Note: Usable 3 times, with 1 turn cooldown.
Note: Its effects last for 4 turns each time, during which the user can't use Decay Release above A-Rank unless he dispels the technique.
Note: When used on others, it counts as a single momentary use.

Pretty simple i think. By focusing decay chakra into your body, it hunts down poisons and agressive agents, decaying them into harmless byproducts. It stays active during some time but can be used momentarily onto a specific person.

It has however some limitations. It can only be used to decay "negative" stuff, things that do you harm. In theory you could use such a principle to decay specific hormones or other substances, giving you the ability to manipulate more aspects of your metabolism but it would be otherwise unapprovable so i left it as a defensive one.

Description:
One of the basic techniques of Ibiton in which the user takes full advantage of the main release and the advanced release to power his hand to hand fighting. The user releases huge amounts of Decay Chakra through out his body, covering himself in an energy that resembles the "flames" of the main release of Ibiton. By doing this, not only does the user become extremely dangerous in hand to hand fighting as he gains a good defense against many energy based techniques as well as taijutsu as the decay chakra surrounding him is dense enough to also act as a defensive mechanism. As the user moves his body, he can release decay chakra as semi crescent waves, projectiles or localized jets/streams, by increasing the output of chakra in the correct timing, combining it with his taijutsu. Doing this enables the user to, for example, punch forward, releasing a burst of decay chakra or side sweeping his leg to create a semi crescent wave of decay chakra, all with the properties mentioned above, below and in Ibiton's definition (strength of A-Rank Ibiton). Not only that but since the user is shrouded in Decay Chakra that resembles flames, when using a Katon breath-related technique, it passively mixes with the Decay Chakra and creates an Ibiton/Katon combo with increased power. However due to the accelerated burn produced by the decay chakra, the fire techniques lose on rank in range, meaning that a long range technique becomes mid ranged, mid ranged becomes short ranged. This shroud of decay makes the user seem as if he's caught fire (in the colors that he can manifest the release), seeming as if flames are being fueled by his own essence. These "flames" have the normal properties of the main release with one additional property, given by the advanced release: when these "flames" touch animal flesh, they focus on decaying proteins, quickly liquifying enemy flesh. This effect, in essence, is more like the effects of a very hot flame/temperature, even if the manifestation of decay release doesn't have any kind of heat output.

Note: Once activated, lasts for 4 turns
Note: Can be used 3 times but requires a one turn cold down
Note: The ranged bursts and projectiles passively made by combination with Taijutsu are A-Ranked and count as a move from the 3 per turn count.
Note: While the technique is active, the user can't mold Water Techniques as doing so ends it
Note: Because of the inherent properties of Decay Release (being based on Fire and Lightning), all Fire Breath Techniques S-Rank and below gain +20 in damage if the technique is active, by mixing passively with the decay chakra being released all around the user, creating a Ibiton/Katon combo. However range is reduced by the accelerated burn, losing one rank in range. This means that a long range technique will only reach mid range, mid range only short range. Short ranged techniques are unaffected by this.

This one is a cool all rounder. It engulfs you for 4 turns in decay flames. These flames hold all the properties of the main release plus the ability to decay proteins, melting the skin on contact. This coupled with the parasitic abilities makes it very deadly in hand to hand, thus the +20 damage to taijutsu moves. Also, because you are surrounded in decay flames, when you exhale a fire technique, these flames mix and the fire burns faster and hotter. However, because of that, it also burns for less time, basically reducing its range. While this is active, you are imune to S-Rank Fire and Lightning as well as up to S-Rank Energy CEs and also Wood or Kaguya bones. Because its something that remains active, even when hit by an S-Rank of those, it won't be cancelled, continuing on. If it were a single use technique, then yeah but since it keeps active for 4 turns, it will overcome one S-Rank of those per turn. And in a very dramatic manner if needed. ^^

One of the basic techniques of Ibiton in which the user takes full advantage of the main release and the advanced release to power his hand to hand fighting. The user releases huge amounts of Decay Chakra through out his body, covering himself in an energy that resembles the "flames" of the main release of Ibiton. By doing this, not only does the user become extremely dangerous in hand to hand fighting as he gains a good defense against many energy based techniques as well as taijutsu as the decay chakra surrounding him is dense enough to also act as a defensive mechanism. As the user moves his body, he can release decay chakra as semi crescent waves, projectiles or localized jets/streams, by increasing the output of chakra in the correct timing, combining it with his taijutsu. Doing this enables the user to, for example, punch forward, releasing a burst of decay chakra or side sweeping his leg to create a semi crescent wave of decay chakra, all with the properties mentioned above, below and in Ibiton's definition (strength of A-Rank Ibiton). Not only that but since the user is shrouded in Decay Chakra that resembles flames, when using a Katon breath-related technique, it passively mixes with the Decay Chakra and creates an Ibiton/Katon combo with increased power. However due to the accelerated burn produced by the decay chakra, the fire techniques lose on rank in range, meaning that a long range technique becomes mid ranged, mid ranged becomes short ranged. This shroud of decay makes the user seem as if he's caught fire (in the colors that he can manifest the release), seeming as if flames are being fueled by his own essence. These "flames" have the normal properties of the main release with one additional property, given by the advanced release: when these "flames" touch animal flesh, they focus on decaying proteins, quickly liquifying enemy flesh. This effect, in essence, is more like the effects of a very hot flame/temperature, even if the manifestation of decay release doesn't have any kind of heat output.

Note: The ranged bursts and projectiles passively made by combination with Taijutsu are A-Ranked and count as a move from the 3 per turn count.

Note: Because of the inherent properties of Decay Release (being based on Fire and Lightning), all Fire Breath Techniques S-Rank and below gain +20 in damage if the technique is active, by mixing passively with the decay chakra being released all around the user, creating a Ibiton/Katon combo. However range is reduced by the accelerated burn, losing one rank in range. This means that a long range technique will only reach mid range, mid range only short range. Short ranged techniques are unaffected by this.

This one is a cool all rounder. It engulfs you for 4 turns in decay flames. These flames hold all the properties of the main release plus the ability to decay proteins, melting the skin on contact. This coupled with the parasitic abilities makes it very deadly in hand to hand, thus the +20 damage to taijutsu moves. Also, because you are surrounded in decay flames, when you exhale a fire technique, these flames mix and the fire burns faster and hotter. However, because of that, it also burns for less time, basically reducing its range. While this is active, you are imune to S-Rank Fire and Lightning as well as up to S-Rank Energy CEs and also Wood or Kaguya bones. Because its something that remains active, even when hit by an S-Rank of those, it won't be cancelled, continuing on. If it were a single use technique, then yeah but since it keeps active for 4 turns, it will overcome one S-Rank of those per turn. And in a very dramatic manner if needed. ^^
How does this handle the opening of the gates, for example?

I assume it would stay active and as such, you'd become a high speed Decay missile. Nothing makes me think you can't keep it active with gates opened. The Gates have been proven to enable the use of ninjutsu so i see no problem in this technique with Eig.

ut gates allow the use of C rank ninjutsu. That's why I asked if I can keep it since I activate it in the previous round, or if it vanishes when I go into the inner gates.

I think that isn't the case anymore. Gai was seen using a summoning technique which if memory serves me right is B-Rank. I need to check those rules again.

But if the C-Rank restriction exists, once you released the gates, the technique would vanish.
