Deva vs. Jiraiya [READ]

Deva vs. Jiraiya, read conditions.

• Since Deva is the only body controlled by Nagato, Deva has more chakra, thus making his powers stronger and faster. The interval of Shinra Tensei is thus shorter
• He can fly, like he demonstrated when preparing the large scale Shinra Tensei
• He can use the Shinra Tensei, the extent is that he crushs whole villages and can knock down 3 boss toad summons
• He can pull things and manipulate object, thus taking big rocks from nowere
• He can use Chibaku Tensei

Deva Path is fighting with his Shinra Tensei and Bansho Tenin (pull Jiraiya and throwing rocks) and use Chibaku Tensei if shinra and bansho dont work anymore.
(dont forget he can fly).

• Jiraiya starts in normal state and have to reach his senninmode first, what takes several calm minutes
  

So who wins? Im pretty sure deva can win, Shinra Tensei is a perfect defense and a very powerful offense, one shinra can knock down 3 boss toad summons. Bansho tenin cant be countered too, he pull jiraiya to him and throws a big rock towards him.

And if deva cant fight anymore, he can use chibaku tensei. for eample if jiraiya reach his senninmode and shoulb be stronger than deva, deva has his chibaku tensei as his trump card.

yeah this technique he could also use to madara
if jiraiya tries someting, deva shinra tensei him away or pull to him to crush him with a rock. And he has a trump, chibaku tensei

I agree. Let's say Deva path gets off one or two moves before jiraiya figures out its ability. Then he summons it. I believe it could be used to bind his own feet as well, while he can also manipulate it to attack from a distance (and possibly spit fire, but that move is non cannon so it doesn't count as of yet)

Jirayas genjutsu? he only has Ma&Pa genjutsu and this battle was deva vs jiraya WITHOUT frogs i think.. ill say it easier NO frogs = No genjutsu I think rinnegan user major weakness is sound genjutsu, or like everybodys lol. deva wins with brutal power. mid

Is this meant to be a continuation of Jiraiya's battle with Pein?

I don't recall Jiraiya having any difficulty against Deva Path in that battle. Furthermore, Jiraiya held his own pretty well against all Six Paths, and he probably could defeat one Path fairly easily (i.e. the original Animal Path, the three Paths that he beat after putting them under genjutsu). As for your analysis of Sage Mode, it doesn't take "minutes" to activate Sage Mode. Jiraiya could even gather Natural Energy while on the move, or more accurately the toads that Jiraiya summons and attaches to his shoulders can gather Natural Energy while Jiraiya is moving. Finally, by only having one Path, you are eliminating Pain's biggest advantage - the shared vision between the Six Paths.

Regardless, I think Jiraiya would win.

next time i post a thread in versus thread, simply forget it. go to naruto discussion and open a thread lol.

maybe it is too late for jiraiya to figure out devas abilities, after he used them. he pull jiraiya and crush him with a rock or use a shinra tensei like when he knocked out the boss toad summons.

or just celestial tera blast if there is no other option.

CT is always a trump my kids.

itachi is also fighting always with genjutsus. but against strong opponents like nagato he was forced to use amaterasu and susanoo, though nagato was fighting bee and naruto.

so if deva fights against someone very strong, he could use his trump also earlier.

Shinra Tensei, Bansho Tenin, Chibaku Tensei, flying ability, who can defeat Deva in 1on1? lol
