Updates include Sage Mode and related abilities, completion of Medical Ninjutsu, and I think that's it. No Akatsuki ring being worn.

And you think I can kill you quickly... My skill is unfortunately disproportional to my biography's power.

Sorry for the late reply, quickly got access to a laptop.

It had been months of searching for answers, yet Elijah had found nothing. He was on the search for his family, his real family. He never knew where he came from, only that he had a special power, one that was so rare that the previous Shinobi he encountered, classified him as being an experiment. A mess. A failure. His quest for the truth, led him to the rocky plains of Iwagakure. Apparently, nearby, an odd man lived. They say he was quite fond of experiments, and messed around with all kinds of dark things. A taboo in the Ninja world, this man had no morals. Or so they said. Elijah had to see for himself, f this was merely another dead end, or would it perhaps lead him to his family.

After days of searching, he came across someone fitting the description. Donning the dark cloak of Akatsuki, blood red clouds scattered across it, Elijah stood in his tracks. Was this perhaps the man? The darkness, that could lead him, to his light? He knew the Akatsuki was a dangerous organization, and that their members were only the best, he was on his guard. His odd power allowed him to taste chakra itself. It was quite peculiar, however, ordinary to Elijah by now. He cleared his throat as he walked forward. His dark suit gave him the appearance of a man not suited to battle, however, looks can be deceiving. His darker shoes were now slightly brownish, due to the loose sand, and rock of the area. He wasn't a fan of it at all, however, the matter at hand was now more than his personal hygiene.

"Sorry to interrupt..you don't happen to be, Kabuto Yakushi? I have an urgent matter to discuss."

Elijah was always a polite man, his foes, not. He was prepared for whatever was to come, as he released a large amount of chakra from his body, creating a pseudo cloak, which would alert him immediately if something was incoming. His face remained serious, as he watched the man in the cloak. His yellow eyes could be seen from under the hood of the cloak. Nefarious, Elijah thought. Just what was this man?

Rank: S
Type: Supplementary ~ Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 40(+10 per turn)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: Tonkuusho is a type of Taijutsu which allows the user to fight with the opponent from any position, even by not looking at him. The user begins charging chakra around him in high amounts, creating a sort of invisible cloak of chakra which the user can feel around him(1.3 meter radius), thusforth, whenever the opponent strikes inside that chakra cloak the user can feel exactly where. This is nothing like the Byakugan's abilities however, as the user does not have a 360 degree view of everything around him. Tonkuusho is recommended to be used only for Taijutsu, as the radius around which the chakra cloak floats around is very small.

- The cloak can be held as much as the user wants to, however it costs him 10 chakra per turn.
- After it's been deactivated the user cannot activate it again for the rest of the battle.
- Must be taught by Shigure.

There was a hissing noise. Kabuto was crouched down, examining the ground beneath himself when the figure approached. Was there something in the soil that caused the shinobi of the Land of Earth to lean more heavily to an affinity in Earth Release? Was the ground special, more susceptible to receiving chakra sent into it by generations of Doton users and thus making it easier for new shinobi to learn the techniques? Or are the techniques of villagers in this area completely unrelated to their landscape? These were questions the mad scientist was trying to answer when he was interrupted by, admitted, a nice-sounding man.

At the question Kabuto half-glanced up, setting his eyes at about belt-level of the other shinobi while remaining hunched over, vials on the ground containing soil samples next to small mounds of earth he was examining. From over his left shoulder a small snake's head appeared, hovering next to Kabuto's own head, brille over its eyes and "feeling" the other man's position and general size with its infrared sensitivity (ie. heat sensing). Just by looking up at the man up to belt-level, meaning that he saw the entire lower half of this man's body up to his belt, Kabuto could already tell a few things about him. For one, he had been traveling by foot for a while judging by the dirt and dust collected on his shoes and the cuff of his pants. Another, the man's belt was obstructed by what was clearly the bottom of a suit jacket, the lower button just at the upper edge of Kabuto's peripheral vision. Judging by the matching pants, Kabuto assumed that the man went the full nine-yards and was dressed completely in a proper suit. From what he could tell, there appeared to be no damage to the suit, allowing Kabuto to assume reduced mobility about the shoulders and crotch due to attire - while he could be wrong, this would mean reaching for anything (ie. large steps such as dashes to either side, crossing an arm to the other side of the body to get something out a pocket, etc.) would be difficult, time-consuming, and more-than-likely slow. Of course, this man may not care for the suit's integrity if provoked, meaning that if Kabuto were to simply attack he may move without regard for keeping the outfit intact, in which case Kabuto's entire deduction would become moot.

I am the one you seek, though I cannot imagine why...

Reaching into his cloak, and raising an eyebrow under the shadow his hood cast upon his face as he waited for a reaction, Kabuto grabbed a small, smooth pebble from inside his cloak. The pebble was warmer than the air around them by absorbing some of the serpentine man's body heat, but not by much. Pulling the pebble out, Kabuto flicked it off of his thumb and towards the man, as if it were a coin. Reaction speeds, movement patterns, as well as how the man interpreted the situation - all things Kabuto was attempting to watch from his limited ocular vision and his more inclusive thermal imaging being sent to his mind by his navel snake, who was strangely quiet since it's initial hissing.

...nor can I imagine how my name and location made it out to common ears.

Closing his eyes, Kabuto pushed himself up to full height, leaving his equipment and dirt piles on the ground, "looking" towards the man (though his eyes were still closed) before he continued.

And not only common, but disrespectful. You ask for my aid - and in "urgent matters", no less - and cannot even show me the simple respect of a bow? Kukuku... What is this world coming to?

The snake began to hiss and Kabuto physically held his right hand up and across his body to "shush" the snake with his index and middle fingers.

What is it you want, child?

Elijah watched closely. His eyes, squinting as he did so. It was probably more of a habit these days though, he had fought so many sneaky shinobi, but this one really gave off an eerie feeling. An aura of mystery shrouded the man, or perhaps it was the dark cloak of Akatsuki that gave off that feeling. Either way, Elijah knew this would perhaps be a defining moment in his life, should he live to tell the tale. He kept his cool though, his breathing not increasing from its normal steady rate, nor his the beating of his heart, though Elijah knew his opponent couldn't possibly see this, his face showcasing a usual stoic look. He was facing Elijah with his back after all. The appearance of the snake only increased the man's mysteriousness to Elijah, who hadn't seen a man so calm around an animal, so fierce. Perhaps it was a special summoning, he thought. He had heard tales of shinobi who could summon snakes, as well as he could summon Toads, perhaps this "Kabuto" was one of them.

It was quiet, as if only they existed for that small moment. The environment was bleak, and faded to the background, as a rustled sound, accompanied by a small, fast moving projectile made its way towards Elijah, just as the man got up from his crouched position. His dark brown eyes, now fully open. His pupils, from a dilated stage, to constricted, due to the light entering them.Kunai? No, too fast, and too small too. It was something in a round shape, not lethal though by the size of it, and the simple forward trajectory of it. He had thrown it, without even looking in the direction of Elijah. A form of sensory? He thought. Perhaps. Or maybe he was just good at aiming without looking. Perhaps Elijah's voice, gave him an indication as to where he was standing, though a form of sensory now felt more accurate. Either way, this could be a problem in battle. His mind usually raced when in battle, as expected of someone, born to kill, with a lust for blood. He had suppressed the lust for blood long ago, however, the skills of battle had remained with him. Gracefully, Elijah shifted his body weight, and simply moved slightly to the right, in an attempt to near miss the pebble, as it had almost reached him. His movement was fast, and calculated. He had various forms of training which required the body to be loose, after all. The thinking of blood lust distracted him. Perhaps it wasn't as suppressed as he thought. It was there. Lingering... The man had answered him in the mean time, and Elijah listened to him. As expected. Arrogant. The most powerful shinobi's always were.

"Kid? I'd barter that we're around the same age."

Elijah said jokingly. His face, welcoming as ever. His good looks always played a role in how others perceived him, though he already knew that this man was far too smart to fall for such parlor tricks.

"Perhaps you weren't inconspicuous enough, after all. I only had to rip out 4 shinobi hearts to get your name. Nonetheless, what do you know of the Ganmi Clan?"

The Ganmi Clan. Not many even knew they existed, but apparently, they originated from Kirigakure. Most stories that existed about them, were myths. Elijah wanted to get to the truth, he wanted to know more about his abilities, and how to cure his lust for blood. It was something he never really wanted. He hated the belief that things went according to fate. He would make his own, even if it meant fighting a member of an elite criminal organization.

Fast. This man waited some time and then moved out of the way quickly. Not what Kabuto had been anticipating - he had been expecting the man to snatch the pebble from the air. However, this was more insightful. Despite the man's attire, he seemed able to move casually, as though he were in simple clothing. But there was still something strange about this man. The way he spoke, it was unnecessary. As the man finished, Kabuto let out a soft sigh.

You think I speak of your age? I mention that bowing is the respectful method to proceed, and then you move in the opposite direction. Is it spite? Do you bring up these things because you think I'm speaking down to you in my instruction of proper etiquette?

Kabuto tutted his tongue, his navel snake lowering itself from over his left shoulder to the slight gap between his left elbow and his side

Childish indeed, even if I were. But this is not what you've come here for. The short answer to you question is in the negative. The long answer... Would you like to hear it?

Kabuto paused for a moment, no more than a second, and then would proceed with the following if uninterrupted (of course you may choose to interrupt, in which case you must completely ignore the following).

To begin, ripping out hearts is hardly a method for extracting information. Don't try to argue - I would know. Even if this were one group of more than four shinobi, of whom you systematically ripped out hearts until one would reveal my location, it is still a terrible method. Fear of death will give you nothing - any good soldier, be he shinobi, samurai, or civilian, would know that in their death, so too does the secret die. Fear of life, on the other hand, is what gets you information.

Now, let's assume you are not lying and did, indeed, gather my location from this very inefficient intelligence-gathering method. In this case, you did one of two things. You either threatened individuals with death until you found a weak-willed man who had the information you sought, of whom very few if any exist, or you did as I suggested earlier - you gathered a group of shinobi who all might have the information and rip out hearts one-by-one until you received your information. The first is hardly plausible for reasons I've already discussed - very few people knew I was here, and of those people, none of them are, to my knowledge, of a weak-enough will to be bullied around by such threat. As such, let's take the second possibility.

Disregarding the "how", you either found these men gathered, or gathered them yourself, and then proceeded to threaten them. Not only threaten, but execute the threat. While they were all around each other and able to know for certain you did what you threatened to do. This is why you're story is so unbelievable - you claim to have at least five very strong shinobi in the same room, and also to be able to rip out four of their hearts without the group retaliating. Now, is it possible that you did something other than what I described? Possibly possible, but not highly probable. But let's get to the root of things, shall we?

Kabuto's eyebrow began to raise as he smirked, his navel snake mimicking the smirk on its own face as it's tongue flicked into the air, ever "watching" the man with it's thermal perception.

Why bother telling me this? You could have said "I killed four men to get this information", but you specifically mention how. Why? Judging by the gruesome method of death, and the numerous more efficient ways to kill at your disposal, this was a display. You didn't kill for the sake of killing - otherwise you would have done it in a manner that require far less work on your part, and you wouldn't have felt the need to explain how it was done in such an uninvited manner. Assuming you actually killed four men by ripping their hearts out, and you're not lying about that, you did it as an intimidation tactic. You did it to prove a point - you don't mind killing, you don't mind getting your hands dirty, and you have the strength to do both. My guess is that you've heard tale of me, and felt the need to try and put me on edge - make me more cautious about engaging you, as it were. And you know what that means...

Kabuto licked his lips while his eyelids twitched. Kabuto had attempted to blink while his eyes were closed, giving a much less intimidating aura than if he were to blink with them open.

It means you're scared. But don't worry, your secret's safe with me.

The grin grew wider as Kabuto's navel snake began to chuckle, a very awkward sound composed of a string of short hisses.

Now, about that clan. It's nothing that I've ever heard of. In all of Lord Orochimaru's experimentation, among all of his files and test subjects, I have never come across that name, nor anything similar to that name. If all you wanted was to pick my brain, there you have it. May I return to my collection of samples?

It worked. Elijah had stated a fact that seemed to get the man interested, even though he couldn't deliver the answer Elijah was hoping for. It was impossible, all the facts led to this man, his name came up several times, and although Elijah did exaggerate at times, he wasn't joking about ripping out hearts in oder for men to give up this name. Elijah kept his cool throughout the man's long winded speech, his hands in his pockets, yet his eyes focused on the man. This man..he knew so much, from a simple sentence, no wonder he was considered to be Orochimaru's prodigy, better than the devil himself. Elijah was, to put it bluntly, impressed by the man's analytical nature. However, he didn't show it. After speaking, Elijah simply removed his right hand, from the pocket, and waved it slightly as he responded.

"Well, I must say, that was quite interesting. To be able to gather so much from a simple sentence, one can see you have spent much of your time alone. Only a man, riddled with secret identities, and secrets to keep would speak in a manner as such. I bet you never trusted anyone before.. I must applaud you, even though most of what you said is mere speculation. You did get one part right. I have heard much of you, and your power, and of course I would be cautious. However, I don't see you as the type of person to get on edge, even if you were faced with death. That was a mere statement, once again showing you that even the most trusted of shinobi, still spill the beans when facing a monster."

A grin came grew on his face, as he remembered his time as a merciless killing machine, his obsession with blood naturally drew him to the battlefield. Nonetheless, his past was a dark one, hidden behind a self created "red door". A defense mechanism to stop him from going back to what he was. A monster..

"Unfortunately, I have come this far, and simply cannot let you slither out of reach again. You say you know nothing, but we both know you harbor dark secrets beneath that scaly skin of yours."

Elijah says jokingly, attempting a jab at the snake like man, and expecting hostility in return. He knew that even the calmest of shinobi would snap, with the smallest of insults.
