Fast. This man waited some time and then moved out of the way quickly. Not what Kabuto had been anticipating - he had been expecting the man to snatch the pebble from the air. However, this was more insightful. Despite the man's attire, he seemed able to move casually, as though he were in simple clothing. But there was still something strange about this man. The way he spoke, it was unnecessary. As the man finished, Kabuto let out a soft sigh.
You think I speak of your age? I mention that bowing is the respectful method to proceed, and then you move in the opposite direction. Is it spite? Do you bring up these things because you think I'm speaking down to you in my instruction of proper etiquette?
Kabuto tutted his tongue, his navel snake lowering itself from over his left shoulder to the slight gap between his left elbow and his side
Childish indeed, even if I were. But this is not what you've come here for. The short answer to you question is in the negative. The long answer... Would you like to hear it?
Kabuto paused for a moment, no more than a second, and then would proceed with the following if uninterrupted (of course you may choose to interrupt, in which case you must completely ignore the following).
To begin, ripping out hearts is hardly a method for extracting information. Don't try to argue - I would know. Even if this were one group of more than four shinobi, of whom you systematically ripped out hearts until one would reveal my location, it is still a terrible method. Fear of death will give you nothing - any good soldier, be he shinobi, samurai, or civilian, would know that in their death, so too does the secret die. Fear of life, on the other hand, is what gets you information.
Now, let's assume you are not lying and did, indeed, gather my location from this very inefficient intelligence-gathering method. In this case, you did one of two things. You either threatened individuals with death until you found a weak-willed man who had the information you sought, of whom very few if any exist, or you did as I suggested earlier - you gathered a group of shinobi who all might have the information and rip out hearts one-by-one until you received your information. The first is hardly plausible for reasons I've already discussed - very few people knew I was here, and of those people, none of them are, to my knowledge, of a weak-enough will to be bullied around by such threat. As such, let's take the second possibility.
Disregarding the "how", you either found these men gathered, or gathered them yourself, and then proceeded to threaten them. Not only threaten, but execute the threat. While they were all around each other and able to know for certain you did what you threatened to do. This is why you're story is so unbelievable - you claim to have at least five very strong shinobi in the same room, and also to be able to rip out four of their hearts without the group retaliating. Now, is it possible that you did something other than what I described? Possibly possible, but not highly probable. But let's get to the root of things, shall we?
Kabuto's eyebrow began to raise as he smirked, his navel snake mimicking the smirk on its own face as it's tongue flicked into the air, ever "watching" the man with it's thermal perception.
Why bother telling me this? You could have said "I killed four men to get this information", but you specifically mention how. Why? Judging by the gruesome method of death, and the numerous more efficient ways to kill at your disposal, this was a display. You didn't kill for the sake of killing - otherwise you would have done it in a manner that require far less work on your part, and you wouldn't have felt the need to explain how it was done in such an uninvited manner. Assuming you actually killed four men by ripping their hearts out, and you're not lying about that, you did it as an intimidation tactic. You did it to prove a point - you don't mind killing, you don't mind getting your hands dirty, and you have the strength to do both. My guess is that you've heard tale of me, and felt the need to try and put me on edge - make me more cautious about engaging you, as it were. And you know what that means...
Kabuto licked his lips while his eyelids twitched. Kabuto had attempted to blink while his eyes were closed, giving a much less intimidating aura than if he were to blink with them open.
It means you're scared. But don't worry, your secret's safe with me.
The grin grew wider as Kabuto's navel snake began to chuckle, a very awkward sound composed of a string of short hisses.
Now, about that clan. It's nothing that I've ever heard of. In all of Lord Orochimaru's experimentation, among all of his files and test subjects, I have never come across that name, nor anything similar to that name. If all you wanted was to pick my brain, there you have it. May I return to my collection of samples?
