Alright, we'll start with the basic one. What is Genjutsu? Anything you know about it, how it works, how its done, how to break it, etc. Just throw some info my way, and systematically, we'll go from there.
I'll explain it my way if it's wrong or like it isn't enough i hope you'll eplain it to me for me to learn more.
So a genjutsu is an illusionary art that the user creates by disrupting the chakra of their opponents .usually the victim that fell under these illusion sees their own fearsome death or drooling ina deep sleep.illusion can be cas upon the other with various means like sight,sound and with elemetal techniques.
there are three ways to break it (don't know if there's more) after one know that they are under genjutsu.
1.Kai
2.Body surge (through oneself or other extra means)
3.Pain

Very basic overview, but not really wrong. I'll just go into more depth. Let's start with what Genjutsu is.
Genjutsu is an illusionary art which works through using chakra to disturb the opponent's chakra flow, and thus, fool their senses to make them see, hear, feel, taste or smell anything.
This is pretty simple, but let's make it a bit clearer. A person not affected by a Genjutsu has a balanced chakra flow, a combination of spiritual and physical energies, like a calm pond. Now, once a Genjutsu is induced, this balance is disrupted. It scrambles the link between the spiritual and physical, basically the mind and the body, and thus allows the senses to be fooled but physically, nothing happens (illusionary effect). A trigger is usually needed to perform a Genjutsu, for example, hand seals, or a certain sound (though this is restricted to Sound Genjutsu with Sound Release), or perhaps a light. Some Genjutsu fully immobilizes the opponent's body, fully taking control the opponent's senses and leaving him to react in his mind, whilst his body is frozen in reality. However, some just manipulate one sense, like what you see, or what you feel.
Anyway, that's the basics of what it is. Can you tell me what you know about detecting Genjutsu?

Hmm. no clarification needed sir. now about detecting a genjutsu well it's bit tricky.Genjutsu is an illusionary art which works through using chakra to disturb the opponent's chakra flow, and thus, fool their senses to make them see, hear, feel, taste or smell anything. like you said it's an art that fools one's senses like hearing seeing smelling or tasting or even make them sleep to detect that it is a illusion one can depend on their surrounding like if they are in a forest and the illusion makes them see that they are in desert they still can feel the cool air of the forest smell of the leaves,like if an illusion is to make the victim sleep he can feel his eye lids close. since i posses an uchiha bio i can see the fluctuation of my chakra ,if i get caught under an illusion i can see that my chakra flow is disturb.

Good, and yes, I always let my students look for it themselves xD Its one of those things, its a great thread and outlines a lot. Anyway, good job.
Genjutsu is fun, it does all kinds of tricky stuff to your mind, your senses, so you can notice something is off by thinking logically. Why am I seeing this, or hearing this, or even tasting something, where did this come from, etc. Its quite simple, Sharingan detection will be covered in Sharingan Genjutsu training. Nonetheless, some Genjutsu are designed to be difficult to figure out, and requires quite some thinking. Now after realising you are in a Genjutsu, the next logical thing to do is break it!
What do you know about breaking Genjutsu?

okay here i go - A ninja performs their techniques by combining their physical and spiritual energies so there are two or maybe three way to break through a genjutsu either a ninja can alter their physical energy by causing damage to himself like chipping their fingers ,stabbing breaking bone although it deffer according to the level on illusion caste on the victim
another method is letting foreign chakra or energy to break through the illuision.in these method one can use sage mode or curse seal . or a summon transferring their chakra to the user. a jinchuriki can break through illusion with the help of their bijju.
i have some question sensei.
1. if we have already created a clone before we're caught in a genjutsu can the clone transfer their chakra in us to release us from genjutsu . or only the bio with chakra sensing ability can do it?
2. genjutsu where the victim are made to fell asleep how do we counter it, like saying i could feel my eye lids close thus knowing that i was in genjutsu even valid ?

Forcefully create a surge of chakra that stop the chakra flow or disturb it.In this method one can use Kai technique to release from an illusion or perform a technique that produces a high surge chakra flow throughout his/her body.another method is letting foreign chakra or energy to break through the illuision.in these method one can use sage mode or curse seal . or a summon transferring their chakra to the user. a jinchuriki can break through illusion with the help of their bijju.

Indeed, simply put, Pain, chakra surges (techniques that forcefully release a lot of chakra through all your tenketsu at once like Chidori Nagashi and Earth Hardening, for example), and introduction of a foreign chakra source like a Bijuu, chakra transfer, Curse Mark, and Sage Mode. Eight Inner Gates also acts as surge. Anyway, here is a small guide on the amount of pain needed to break a certain rank of Genjutsu.
Anyway, last but not least, Genjutsu Layering. Do you understand it? If so, give me a small summary about it.
Anyway, before I answer your questions, remember one critical fact. You must always first deduce that you are in a Genjutsu, then only may you break it via one of these methods.
A good question, but I don't believe its viable, due to the clone having your chakra, you'd just be introducing your own chakra into your system instead of a foreign one capable of breaking it. I'll ask around a bit about it, since I didn't really look into it before.
Most of those Genjutsu have tell signs, like the canon one that makes you sleep only makes you sleep fully after a turn if not broken, it also has feathers falling from the sky, making it fairly obvious that it's a Genjutsu if there are no places feathers could be falling from. Though the fact that your character starts feeling drowsy when he was just normal a few moments ago, and it only started after the opponent formed a hand seal (for the Genjutsu) is also another tell sign which allows you to go, "Ah, its a Genjutsu!"2. genjutsu where the victim are made to fell asleep how do we counter it, like saying i could feel my eye lids close thus knowing that i was in genjutsu even valid ?

Ahum !!! Genjutsu layering ammm... it's a way or method that a user cast(mix/deepen ) 2 or more genjutsu at a time to their victim.layers are formed by mixing the higher to lower rank illusions.

Alright, if you understand it well, you won't mind a quick question on it? If I layered a Genjutsu, first an B rank and then an A rank, what would the overall Genjutsu rank be? And what would I need to break it?
First layering a genjustu is mixing two illusions with a higher ranked at first and lower ranked at second so obviously the illusion you created would be of B ranked and to break it first you need to detect the illusion ,detect the defect in it after you have done so you can either use Kai or other methods that we previously discussed =D

Good, except one thing, the Genjutsu will be the rank of the higher ranking one. So it will be A rank. My question was a trick question of sorts to see if you know that the higher ranking one has to be cast first. Nonetheless, are you ready to continue?

Good, now, for my method, I want you to perform the technique against a clone of mine, give me at least 2 advantages and disadvantages of the technique, as well as how you would use it in battle. This is for every technique we'll do, unless I say something.
A simple Genjutsu where you will cast a Genjutsu over the opponent. This allows you to manipulate the way the terrain looks like, and nothing else. Just how the opponent perceives it. Very smart technique as you can create forests, deserts, holes in the ground, fake mountains, anything that pertains to the terrain.

Advantages: 1.simply fooling the opponent by creating a false surrounding like forest or terrain even hot lava spots.
2. another layer of illusion can be created so that the opponent are fooled twice =D
Disadvantages: 1. Opponents with genjutsu as their specialty, doujutsu users and chakra sensory users can clearly perceive this techniques.
2. I'm thinking I'm thinking........ yup since this technique only changes the surrounding it affect only the visual sight of the opponent other senses like smell,feeling aren't affected so the opponent can easily find that it's a mere illusions.
Usage in Battle: i would simply cast it to the opponent fooling them they are standing in a piece of rock while hot molten lava are flowing around him making his/her movement stop for a while
-Then "poof" a shadow clone of sensei appears in front of gin , with a smile in his face gin release his chakra in the surrounding and to the clone of sensei altering the view of surrounding into a vast forest "the forest of death" with huge trees,grasses around the clone of sensei-

These petals will then swirl to surround the opponent, all in the illusion, whilst in reality, your movement will be masked and you can attack from the blind spot of the opponent. Use it against my clone.
Now, for this technique, you will have to form 5 hand seals. This allows you to induce the Genjutsu, and cause the opponent to see you dissolve into a shower of cherry blossom petals. These petals will then swirl to surround the opponent, all in the illusion, whilst in reality, your movement will be masked and you can attack from the blind spot of the opponent. Use it against my clone.

Good, remember to clearly write that only in the illusion, are you transformed. In reality, nothing changes on you.
A very simple technique, where you will first form a single hand seal. This induces the Genjutsu on the opponent, and following this, you will throw a single paper bomb towards the opponent. However, the opponent will see it as a clone advancing upon him, and once the paper bomb reaches said opponent, it explodes, causing quite some damage. Use it against my clone.
