The size of the affected area as well as the depths that it is lowered to is up to the user and rasing earth can be done up to 20 meters tall creating a small cliff or they can create trenches that can be as deep as 20 meters. Other than being moved below ground relative to the surrounding surface the terrain is not altered, plant life and people retaining their same positions.



"Lastly, this technique works by slamming your hands onto the ground as you focus your Earth based chakra. This allows you to raise or lower the earth up to 20 meters. This can be done to raise you up, lower the opponent, create a gorge, etc. Pretty useful."
Regarding the first, it seems the point of the technique is to turn earth into a more loose, less structurally sound nature. Would this technique work through gravity, where the earth is required to pre-exist in a diagonal/slope, or is it like you said, where the tehcnique automatically creates a wall that is then turned loose? I liek the concept of being a technique that breaks down earth.

The second is simple enough, loads of spikes.

The third, can I make the gorge/plateu have any shape I want, or is it limited to the basic circular/square shape? Like, could I do a "U" shape, where I create a bent wall all around me, protect me from an attack, for example? Could I raise a plateau in the chape of a doughnut, with my opponent in the middle?

Upon doing so, he'll use the earth chakra to increase the weight of the target drastically. The technique can increase the targets weight up to 10 times. One interesting side effect of the technique is that when its used on wood based techniques (such as Zetsu's spore clones or normal wood), the infusion of large amounts of earth chakra into it will actually petrify the target in addition to increasing its weight. A similar effect can be achieved in other earthen materials such as mud. The user can also add weight to a given attack (if feasible) to increase both momentum and impact force, effectively adding damage to it.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

Description: Contrary to its counterpart (the Earth Release: Added-Weight Rock Technique), instead of making the target heavier, this technique makes it much lighter, though still using the same principle and mechanics. The user will make direct contact with the given target (through his hands), infusing them with earth chakra and lowering their weight drastically. The technique can lower a targets weight up to 10 times less than it originally had. This allows freer manipulation of the affected objects, which would normally carry considerably more weight and as such, require a greater amount of exertion to move. The technique can be used on the user or other shinobi to increase their speed, but as a consequence of using it this way, it results in the decrease of the physical force of their blows. The same principle applies if used on a physical attack wich will be faster but will carry less momentum and as such, less physical damage. It doesn't change the "strength" of binding techniques (like Sand Release), where the user is manipulating a dynamic element but will decrease the impact damage of techniques that rely on it.
Note: The initial effects last for 2 turns or until countered.



"The direct opposite of the technique just covered, here you will make the target lighter with direct contact, by infusing your Earth based chakra into said object. Speed can be increased if used on yourself, but it'll make your impact force less. It lasts for up to two turns."

Those first techniques can be used on ourselves? These could be excellent ways to decrease our acceleration when we're being thrown, by making ourselves lighter and thus suffer less damage on the fall. Besides, these can be used to provide a +1 rank increase in any projectile base technique, since it adds +20 damage.

As for the third one, it can only be used with shadow clones, or could it be used with allies and summons? If so, how much chakra does each spend?

The first ones are basically stronger and bigger versions of techniques we've already discussed. The last one is different. I wonder what type of materials can be expelled with this technique? Would you be able to expell vapour, gases, or even lava from the ground? In which conditions could you? Would you have to create a technique that creates a reservoir of a given substance within the ground? I find it very limiting to have an S rank technique whose only purpose is to shoot people using underground fish projection from the ground.

But with no damage, right? What would happen if I open this technique directly underneath an opponent. There's nothing underground ( no mud, or water reservoir ).

"Its like causing rocks to fall from say a cliff onto the opponent, it doesn't have a damage number or rank, but if rocke fall on ya, it can damage you. So in case of nothing being underground, I believe just rocks and debris will be expelled."

The downside is that the user cannot mold techniques from other elements a part from earth while sustaining the armor. The armor can be manifested in only specific parts of the body if the user so chooses.



"Now, a pretty cool technique to help you take the brunt of attacks, where you will release a burst of Earth chakra all over your body to cause rocks to emerge, and form into an armor of sorts. This armor can be used to make weapons like swords and hammers, but only Earth based chakra can be molded when using it."

The user will slam his hand on the ground, manipulating it and shaping it into a large warrior of stone which he can control as long as he keeps his hand in contact with it or with the ground and keeps fueling the technique with chakra. The golem can reach heights of 30 meters and is quite massive but seems to also be capable of moving quite fast as well.




"Remember the Golem technique? This one creates a larger version of it, but its created from the ground instead of releasing it from your mouth. Slam your hands onto the ground, and form it, which is sustained by keeping your hands onto the ground or on the Golem itself. It can reach heights of up to 30 meters."

Description: A more advanced version of the Earth Release: Light-Weight Rock Technique, in which the user drastically decreases the weight of any object in direct physical contact, but to a much greater extent than that of the original ability. The technique can decrease the weight of the target to virtually zero but the bigger the target, the more time is needed.
Note: The weight change lasts 2 turns or until countered.

This technique can increase the weight of a target up to 100 times. Under certain circumstances, the technique can be used to increase the force behind attacks.

We've analyzed these already, they're just stronger versions of previous techniques. I don't have any questions.
