It's totally worth it. I started watching it 3 months ago and I have finished watching the episodes and the manga since 2 weeks now. It is kinda addictive though..

It's the best anime/manga out there. It starts out slow but once you get to the arlong arc, it gets better. Don't watch it dubbed.

In terms of animation it might not be as good as some of the others but the story and the charachters make it up for it. Besides the animation really improves after a couple of arcs. I just have to warn you that you will get addicted after you start watching.

Yeah its still going and won't be ending anytime soon since the timeskip only just started.
