Desmond is 74in tall, weighs 230 lbs., and has tan skin, dark brown eyes, and short black hair. He has worn many outfits but currently from top to bottom wears a black beanie on his head, followed by a black hoodie which has the original assassin logo on the left shoulder, WoW Horde symbol on the right, and Ōtsutsuki clan symbol on the back. He also wears a red shirt, followed by black gloves similar to Sai’s but with the pinky also cut off. Below that he wears black cargo pants which he carries various ninja tools in the pockets and black running shoes.

After joining the Reapers Desmond designed a new outfit for himself that he wears during missions. This armors name is Grenth and consists of an animal skull with glowing green reflective lenses in the eye sockets and a hood to cover it; dark gold metal pauldrons which on the right pauldron has several skulls with glowing eyes etched into it; the chest plate is made up of a dark grey metal shaped like a rib cage with a green glow slipping through the cracks; its vambraces are dark gold with two skulls molded into it; a dark gold tasset with three skulls and two souls being dragged to hell; dark gold greaves and sabatons with 5 skulls molded onto each leg; cloth lined with a chakra thread mesh, and leather straps.

Desmond, for the most part, is a fun laid back and in general easy-going, he feels the most at ease when he is just lounging around and prefers to leave the decision-making up to other people. When it comes to allies he would do anything for them but tends to be a little colder to people he doesn’t know. When it comes to authority Desmond is loyal to what he believes and will follow any orders given to him by his chain of command unless he felt they were unjust. He also likes to listen to music and normally has his earbuds in at all times, because of this he has learned how to read lips in order to maintain conversations when necessary.
Due to his rocky past, he tends to also exhibit homicidal and sadistic tendencies which are normally expressed towards people who put him in a bad mood, are openly wrongful or simply do things to those not deserving of them. He tries to keep this side of him under wraps and only shows his easy-going side but in the current era of lawlessness and new beginnings, it's very hard to do. He aims for his allies to know him has kind, caring, protective and enemies to see him as hate, brutal, and wrathful.

史|History
Desmond was born in the year 500; his father was a high ranking member of a mercenary band while his mother was assumed to be a white-haired Hyuga branch member. Desmond's mother was sent to earth from the moon years ago to do recon on its inhabitants; utilizing her byakugan and surprising skill as a puppeteer she caught the attention of many shinobi. Her success and skill in battle made her a highly valuable target which would eventually cause unfortunate events to fall upon her. One night a mercenary group of shinobi infiltrated her evaded several traps she had set up around her and made their way to her tent kidnapping her. The leader of this mercenary group took her as his wife using her as he saw fit and a year later Desmond was born. Barring no byakugan upon birth enraged his father beat his mother calling her defective and questioned if she was even really a Hyuga. Despite threats to kill Desmond to punish his mother for birthing a defect, his father decided to keep him in order to train him and eventually use him to kill high-value targets. His father remarried making Desmond a tool and his mother a slave.

When Desmond turned 6 his father began his training; at which Desmond began to excel quickly not due to him being a natural or prodigy however but simply due to the fact that every time he failed at something his mom would get a lashing. His father's treatment of his mother drove Desmond whilst also rooting deep seeds of hate as it wasn't only his father that treated them this way. Desmond grew quickly mastering all the elements mainly excelling in taijutsu whilst becoming efficient in other shinobi arts. At the age of 12, unlike other kids, his age Desmond wasn't given D-C ranked missions instead he was forced to take on suicidal B-A ranks. Each mission was an assassination and each mission had to be public and if he failed or his identity compromised his mother would be killed.

Now age 20 Desmond has completed many S ranked high profile assassinations and yet while the clan has prospered from them he and his mother are still treated like trash. With his mother grew ill he went to the main house enduring disapproving stares from his half-siblings and their mom to ask his father that if he took on an F ranked assassination and gave him all the rewards from it would he grant him and his mother permission to leave and in order to find a village to aid his mom. His father laughed granting his request on the condition that he would return and serve faithfully for the rest of his life; Desmond agreed and took off. The mission was more than Desmond could handle but he knew his mother depended on it. A year passed and Desmond finally completed his Assassination with the help of a man named Aquilus, and so he returned home.

Upon his arrival Desmond immediately went to his father's home with the reward and upon arrival was told that his mother was in the back working off the debt she incurred while he was away. Running to tell her the good news he opened the door but to his shock, he saw his mother beaten with his half-siblings doing indescribable things whilst their mom watched an laughed. Desmond finally snapped slamming the door shut and drawing his blade he sliced all tendons in their legs and arms to prevent them from moving. He then proceeds to one by one executing them one by one; his father then burst through the door after hearing their screams and Desmond turned to him "You can have your family back..." he said with a blank expression as their lifeless bodies began to rise as if they were puppets and brutally slaughtered the man. The attack ended with his father's, his wife's, and his half-siblings bodies scattered throughout the majority of the building; grabbing his mother Desmond fled.

His mother during the trip often told stories of her childhood; it was through these stories that she revealed that she wasn't of this world and that Desmond had more potential than he realized. Upon in a nearby village, he sought out the leadership which upon finding they noticed his bloodstained clothes and what seemed to be the figure of a woman and attacked. Desmond skillfully disarmed them whilst trying to explain his situation as he desperately needed their help. It wasn't until his mother stood up white hair blowing in the wind and tears falling from her eyes yelling "ENOUGH!" Desmond and all of the Lord's guards immediately froze and as if they were puppets. His mother went to speak with the lord of the land and it was then that he granted them asylum. Years past but unfortunately could be done for his mother; one night she collapsed and died in her son's arms leaving him with just her grimoire. Wrecked with grief and flooded with emotion the veins around Desmond's eyes began to bulge and his brown eyes would turn a pure white. Taking his mom to the burial grounds villages visibly expressed their grief while others shock. As it would turn out he did carry the what they assumed was the Hyuga bloodline meaning what he and his mother went through was just one big mistake.

Years passed since then, Desmond had decided to stay in the village and learn their history as well as his mothers to honor her memory. Learning from the grimoire Desmond had taught himself how to use his mother's puppetry style and unique techniques adding to his skillset; Desmond was happy though often found himself missing the rush of his previous life which tore him up on the inside. One day Aquilus showed up again stating that he had been tracking Desmond down for a while due to his skill and the rumors he had heard; the two sat down for a drink and Desmond told his story making him and everyone in the brotherhood the only ones to ever know he's not a Hyuga. Aquilus offers him to join a brotherhood which could train him further and aid in healing his inner struggle; Desmond accepted. On his journey, Desmond has witnessed many things, learned many languages, battle tactics, fought members of every clan, and met many interesting people with one such group of people formed a group and called themselves the Reapers. Desmond signed on with them to see what this group and its people may have in store for him.

As time has passed Desmond has found himself amongst many powerful people and great lands. Though the other members of the Reapers either abandoned the clan or performed experiments on the very people they came to protect Desmond now remains the sole member building a stable infrastructure and organized militia in the Haunted Forest. Creating alliances with both the White Lotus and Golden Sabbath he finds himself drawn to GS from his initial encounter with Sado and Trunks to the faked death of Trunks during the Shogunates attempt to weaken them, to aiding a young child of the Haunted Forest. Desmond has been offered a chance to merge with Golden Sabbath, to which he gladly accepted. Since the merge GS has accumulated several other lands, clans, new members and has formed into Tsumigakure. With Sado as their Kage along with his fellow council members and the rest that comprise this new tribe Desmond is eager to see what the future has in store.

Many years passed and Desmond betrayed his allies and friends all under the false belief he would actually be protecting them. His naivety cost him dearly as all of his homelands and friends were wiped from existence due to the return of the shogun. Heartbroken Desmond swiftly returned to Tsumigakure abandoning his self-proclaimed mission in order to kill the shogun in hopes of atoning. Upon finding the shogun Desmond was surprised to see him fighting his friends and more surprised that they welcomed him back and together they defeated the shogun. This, however, was just a baited trapped to trick Tsumi into releasing the mother of all creation. This vile creature began wreaking havoc in other lands and the world was called to action; of course, Desmond and the rest of Tsumi answered the call. After a grueling battle, the heroes of the world finally took down Tiamat. Desmond now seeks to atone for his misjudgment that led to his friend's deaths and now travels the world.

Weaponry: Desmond wields a bladed war fan on his back, a hidden blade is strapped to each of his wrists, an ample amount of chalk/ninja tools/poisons are stored in his cargo pockets, and he carries various medical supplies/poisons in his one-strap backpack. He and his auto puppets each carry a coffin on their backs with each containing a single puppet within.

Scientific Tools: Due to the technological advancements of this age Desmond as acquired new and interesting toys. The first being the absorption arms a pair of gloves that are able to absorb jutsu that he might find troublesome. The second is autonomous puppets that tend to follow him around and keep him company.

(Ekibyō no Noroi) – Curse of Pestilence(Acquired)

Description: The Curse of Pestilence is contained within a small beautifully engraved box. When opened the box releases the curse in the form of a ghostly cloud that can be directed towards a specific landmark up to two landmarks away. When the curse infects a landmark, in general, every player in that landmark will begin to experience pneumonic symptoms like fever, chills, sweating, lethargy, and stabbing chest pains. In practical terms, one day after the box has been opened those infected would be so severe as to make them lose 5 health per day, -5 speed slower and unable to use above S-rank techniques. The disease can be cured by a medical ninja with healing abilities, and others with healing abilities, but only if they are effective on more than just superficial injuries. Alternatively, the disease will naturally leave the victim's body three days after leaving the infected landmark. Those with the power to sense spiritual entities, like Yin Release specialists, can also remove the spirit by destroying it win an equally potent Yin Release technique. After the curse has been let out of the box it becomes worthless.
(Nakusosu no Mīdo) - Naxonian Mead(Acquired)

Description: A mead, or alcoholic beverage from the island of Naxon in the Water Archipelago. It is a delicious drink with a slight kick; it reflects the relaxing atmosphere of the island and its beautiful light forest that sprawls throughout against the beach. When consumed the mead inebriates the user, increasing their base movement speed by two levels and their taijutsu by an additional 10 damage. It also passively causes the user's taijutsu to become more fluid in nature, akin to the drunken fist. However, this is only a cosmetic enhancement and does not convey passive use od Drunk Fist. The user's base speed is reduced by one base level after three turns. The mead can be consumed thrice before being emptied, its effects do not stack.
(Gimu Kishō) – Service Insignia(Acquired)

Description: A medallion of sorts marked with a kanji for the House of Ashikaga. It signifies the holder's completion of a task for the Shogun Takauji Ashikaga, heir of Chungshu and the remanents of the Hangurian Freehold. It is crafted from Hangurian ore and gold giving it a remarkable speckled shine and imbuing it with mysterious properties that are currently impossible to decipher. When taken into possession by a new holder, it momentarily burns to the touch. The reasons for this are unknown. This medallion is typically rewarded by members of Ashikaga's Black One's Regiment but can be given by the Shogun himself.
( Chūkū Masuku ) - Hollow Mask(Acquired)

Description: The Hollow Mask is thought to be a cursed object with a mind of its own, however, this theory is unfounded with no actual support beyond the mask seemingly acting to protect its wielder. It takes the form of a section of fractured and broken porcelain and ivory mask adorned with red and black stripes in its default state. In its initial state, it has no tangible abilities but when the wielder is about to sustain damage the mask activates passively and autonomously and even in the same timeframe as other techniques evolving into one of its three states of being. Each of these three states has a separate level of protection granted to the wielder and changes the appearance of the mask, considerably in a process called Hollowficiation that alters the body to be temporarily more resistant to damage.

State One: When the wielder is about to take damage of D-rank or higher the shattered porcelain mask grows in size becoming a face mask covering the eyes, nose, mouth, and forehead. In this state, the Hollow Mask allows for the negation of minor damage. To do this it siphons traces of chakra ( 10 per turn ) from the chakra circulatory system and pumps it directly into the muscles, tendons, and bones of the body altering their physiology. In doing so it makes them more pliable and resistant to damage allowing for the negation of trivial attacks. This state can last for four turns and has the added benefit of shaving off twenty damage from any technique that would strike the user for that time.

State Two: When the wielder is about to take damage of B-rank or higher the mask can evolve further becoming a complete head covering helmet. This helmet stretches around the head, neck, and shoulders even creeping down the chest having an oddly demonic appearance with two growing horns at the crest of the helmet itself. In this state, it appears as a growing white-mass of porcelain or ivory gradually consuming the body. Like, State One the mask siphons chakra from the chakra circulatory system ( 20 per turn ) and pumps it into the muscles, tendons, and bones of the body. It alters the anatomy of the wielder further, increasing their muscle mass, the density of their bones and the plasticity of their tendons. This makes the user resistant to moderate attacks. This state can last for three turns and has the added benefit of shaving off forty damage from any technique that would strike the user for that time.

State Three: When the wielder is about to take damage of S-rank or higher the mask evolves into its final state becoming a full-body suit of white armor. It covers every inch of the body in a protective covering negating the chance for most things to even touch the wielder. The wielder takes on a ghastly white, demonic appearance with horns and claws. The mask siphons off large amounts of chakra ( 30 per turn ) from the chakra circulatory system and forces it into the flesh, muscles, tendons, and bones of the body warping the body to take on the shape and form of the armor itself. This state can last for two turns and has the added benefit of shaving off sixty damage from any technique that would strike the user for that time.

( Sōshō Heisa no Shūhen ) - Periapt of Wound Closure(Acquired)

Description: The Periapt of Wound Closure is a tiny heart-shaped charm with two passive effects. The first is when the wielder is rendered unconscious by any form of damage it will automatically heal them by forty points of damage. This is a minuscule amount but it is enough to rouse them from unconsciousness and allow them to move, act, and fight without needing to wait out the usual health regeneration period. This happens passively, and autonomously. The secondary effect is that any healing effect used upon the wielder is 1.5xs more effective only on the wielder excluding Yang Release. So a technique that would heal them for thirty health instead, heals them for forty-five health. This is only true for techniques used by the user on themselves. This effect excludes the Periapt of Wound Closure which always heals the same fixed forty health no matter the wielder or their abilities.
Note: The unconscious healing effect can be used once per arc
Leg Weights: While traveling Desmond found himself lacking in speed finding it hard to keep up with several shinobi who would have killed him if not for his byakugan. He eventually stumbled upon a taijutsu user who had attached special leg weights to his legs; intrigued Desmond bought the leg weights from the shinobi using them to increase his own speed when necessary.

Medical: Being a traveler Desmond learned his medical arts from various books he picked up along the way as he found himself often in dire need of healing with no one but himself around. Desmond keeps every possible medical item he could need in his backpack while more combat-oriented items are in his cargo pockets.

Poison: Being a medical shinobi, puppeteer, and assassin Desmond had developed a habit of using poisons. With this knowledge, Desmond has various poisons stored on him along with his weapons and puppets at times being coated in them. His skulls contain Med/Puppeteer poison in them and explosive tags/smoke bombs have also been replaced with vicious mockery(see CJ thread).

Springhare: Through his travels through the Land of Wind Desmond stumbled upon an injured creature. Nursing it back to health the name Cynn entered Desmond's mind. Cynn took Desmond to her home; a massive underground burrow network near the largest tree in the Land of Wind. It was there he meet Azrael and was given permission to be the first to sign a contract with them; he now has the tattoo on the inside of his lower lip.

Thunderbird: Through his many adventures one mission forced him to track down a target all the way to another land. This territory was further than most have seen and wasn't located on any of his maps but yet here it existed. After taking care of his mission he found himself lost in this foreign place; years past and he took to helping local tribes of people in exchange for goods and information. During his tenure, he heard stories of a bird that these people worshipped intrigued by this he sought out to find them. He eventually did, these magnificent creatures ruled the skies and allowed Desmond to contract them placing their mark on his lower lip.
(Kuchiyose no jutsu: Jecht) Summoning Technique: Jecht

Description: Jecht is the son of Castiel and one of Desmond’s closest friends, like his father he has 3 pair of wings each half the size of the pair before them. Appearance-wise he has 2 tails, desert brown and white feathers that also seem to have a golden shimmer to them when in direct sunlight, a yellow/golden beak, and dark golden slit-pupil eyes. When it comes to size, he is roughly the of an Argentavis Magnificens, allowing him to carry one person on his back at a time. Ability wise Jecht can utilize Rain Release as well as techniques affiliated with the summoning contract. Being a mythical creature associated with rain and storms Jecht has such immense control over the skies he is capable of preventing his allies from taking any damage from his rain release so long as he demonstrates a grasp on their location(s). Due to being an aerial creature, Jecht is able to telepathically communicate back and forth with Desmond.
