Read this and hit me with a question if any

Dark Release is a Kekkei Genkai said to be originated from Kirigakure, although by an unknown shinobi from it. Hiruko the villain stole this ninja's Dark Release KG and showcased numerous abilities with it. Dark works in absorbing other energy sources and redirecting them in a far stronger version of raw energy. The colour of the released chakra is light blue, and not almost black in colour.

The method I've used in order to make a better understanding of Dark will make things less confusing for you, at least I hope so. Dark Release is divided into two categories, that of "Absorption" based Dark and "Release" based dark. Now the former deals in absorbing chakra (mostly energy based elements, however higher ranked Dark techniques can even absorb Water or Earth at some point). The dark marks located in your palm need to be short range away from an attack for them to absorb it most of the time. Whereas the Released version of Dark is releasing the absorbed chakra in the form of raw energy, which is alike to light blue flames. This form of Dark does not have the ability to absorb things. Normally, a hit from this raw energy grants death to almost anyone. A B-rank dark explosion is enough to deal life-threatening damage. Another branch of the Released version is that beside the blue flames, it can also come in blast and shockwave version; things which will be portrayed to you during the training.

Moving on, you're right on the part that the absorbed chakra does not affect our chakra system or body, as they stay within the marks. It is believed that the marks are portals to other dimensions, (Example: Obito's Kamui) and these dimensions can contain an infinite amount of chakra in there. That said, let me ask you a question; can Dark Release absorb Senjutsu? No, or yes, provide me the reasons.

Lastly, in the RP, Dark is composed of Lightning and Fire chakra.

Alright, firstl Dark Release technique.

(Meiton: Kyūketsukō) - Dark Release: Inhaling Maw
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user uses their dark release to forcibly extract the physical and spiritual energy (chakra) of another ninja and absorb it through the upper square of the mark on his left hand, which can then be used to perform Dark Release: Judgment.
Note: Can absorb up to A-Rank Wind, Fire and Lightning techniques, S-Rank raw chakra or C-Rank Water, all within reason. Has no effect on Earth techniques.

Without this, you cannot begin to perform other "Release" Dark techniques. Notable to say is that Inhaling Maw does not follow Dark's Strengths and Weaknesses based on the official . So it's more of a stand alone absorbing dark technique, being able to absorb only what is written in the notes. There are other techniques which can also absorb, one of which is a more refined version of Inhaling Maw, allowing you to absorb even solids at some point.

Now then, I'd like to start with the only two techniques which do not require earlier absorption. They're courtesy of Ryujin, who donated these two techniques last year in the canon list.

(Meiton No Jutsu) - Dark Release Technique

(Meiton: Kyūketsukō) - Dark Release: Inhaling Maw

A technique that is a prerequisite for most Dark Release techniques, one will absorb techniques and then release it outward. The marks on the hand acting as the medium, allowing the absorption. Of course what can be absorbed depends on the strengths and weaknesses of Dark Release. Its advantageous to the literal usage of Dark Release, and disadvantages that has to use it for every release type. Either way, its a nice technique, but it being so close to me makes me a bit nervous.​

(Meiton No Jutsu) - Dark Release Technique

A nice technique, where one will unleash some blasts of Dark, make some shields, and possibly even walls and weapons, through Dark chakra. It's pretty useful, but can only be used five times. Its advantageous as it requires no hand seals, and has some form of freedom, where one can basically create a large amount of constructs, due to the wording. Also that it can be used nicely in close range, due to blasts and so on, even defensively, by creating a shield of dark, for example. I'd use it in battle for a quick usage of shooting blasts, or simply to create projectiles of Dark.​

(Taibu Meiton No Jutsu) - Greater Dark Release Technique

A stronger version of the one I covered before. Where one will unleash shapes of Dark Release toward the opponent. There's some freedom as to what can be shot, and like the former, its restricted to usage, this one being only usable three times. Similar to the one above, it has similar advantages and disadvantages, though this time, higher ranked and as such, more useful. Its range is beneficial, allowing one to basically fire blasts or create shields from afar. Generally, useful techniques.​

Neat job! The next set of techniques are basic ones where you release waves of dark chakra towards the opponent. There isn't much difference to each other, it's just that you release a single dark wave with one, and several with the other. Both techniques' ranges are pretty convenient.

They require earlier absorption however. Tell me your thoughts on them (advantages/disadvantages) and how would you apply these in a battle, or possibly in a combination with other techniques you know? (May be other elements)

Alright.

(Meiton: Kuro Aku Reiki) - Dark Release: Evil Black Aura

A simple technique, where after absorbing a technique, the user will unleash Dark waves. This is done through their hand, unleashed toward the opponent. Pretty simple in nature and can be done fast. This technique is advantageous in that it can be used directly after absorbing a dangerous technique, say the opponent used one just before you, you absorb and then boom, release it onto them at close range. No hand seals, so its pretty sudden. Disadvantages, would be its rank and strength, its pretty weak on its own, really and its projectile based, so it can be dodged with ease.​

(Meiton: Yami no Nami) - Dark Release: Darkness Wave

After absorbing a technique, one will unleash through a wave of the hand, a massive wave of Dark chakra. This is pretty cool since it travels all the way to Long range, making it great to use for cover, or handling a big energy based attack. Its Long range capabilities make it good for getting to the opponent and also interact with weaker elements due to its expansive range. Its weak in that it can also be dodged by going upward with ease, and its rank isn't much either.​

(Meiton: Dassui Fureru) Dark Release: Draining Touch
Type: Offensive
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: 20 (-40 chakra points to the enemy)
Damage: N/A
Description: By activating the absorption mark in one of his hands and touching an enemy, the user is able to absorb up to 40 chakra points on contact. This chakra can then be used to fuel release-type Dark Release techniques.

First is Tai based, able to absorb chakra upon contact. Then the next one is unleashing a shockwave made of destructive Dark chakra.

(Meiton: Dassui Fureru) Dark Release: Draining Touch

After activating the absorption mark, one will touch the opponent and absorb 40 chakra points. This can be used to fuel Dark Release techniques. The concept NK and gang has taken and made a lot of techniques with. Pretty damn useful, can sap away a lot of chakra like this, especially if you just manage to get close enough, and perhaps create a custom to extend its range and sap chakra. Or even better, wait imma keep that to myself *insert Pepe*. Anyway, disadvantage is coming so close to the opponent as well, making it difficult to utilize as well.​


(Meiton: Kasseiken) - Dark Release: Revival Fist

Dark chakra is gather, and massive shock wave is unleashed. This causes internal damage on the opponent. Due to it being able to travel toward Long range, its great to use to hit back oncoming energy based attacks, or aim to strike the opponent when close, due to no hand seals being needed. Its range is beneficial, as well as its effects when it hits, but overall, its just a shock wave which can also easily be dodged. Overall, I'd use it if the opponent were pretty close to me.​

(Meiton: Meifu no Iriguchi ) Dark Release: Netherworld Gates

Description:
The user will spread his arms to the sides and point his palms outwards in opposing directions, activating his absorption squares in both his hand markings. As he does, a radial vortex-like effect is creating towards each hand. By doing this, the user is able to defend from attacks (following the elemental weaknesses and strengths of the KG) that are thrown at him from all directions, as the vortexes will direct them to the markings. However, if the user fails to keep both arms and markings perfectly opposed to each other, the vortexes will become unstable and fail.

Oh yeah, the blue flame types.

(Meiton: Meifu no Iriguchi ) Dark Release: Netherworld Gates

A technique where the user will spread their arms outward, using the absorption squares to create a vortex like effect around them. This acts as a defense, allowing one to draw in elements weak to Dark, like the energy types. However, the arms need to be kept in place to keep the vortex in place. Overall, a very defensive technique and can help you out when you're in a situation where you need an all-round defense against an energy type of element. It can be enhanced with CJ, the concept becoming more localized (although its probably already been done) and without the drawback of having to hold the arms out the whole time.​

(Meiton: Jajjimento) - Dark Release: Judgment

After having absorbed some chakra, one will convert it into light blue flames. This can be blasted back toward the opponent, expelled through the lower square, and would cause quite some damage upon impact. Another form of Dark Release, which can be used for potential CJs. The flame like form, can be used to another extent, to create massive explosive like techniques or even familiars of some sort. Of course, the disadvantage comes to the point that it can only be used after an absorption of some sort. Something that has been loopholed quite a lot with CJ, though.​

The user, when facing an attack, will clap his hands together and separate them right after. As he separates his hands, a small dark sphere will be between them. The user maintains his hands close to sustain the small sphere while it siphons any enemy technique or enemy chakra within range towards itself. The sphere is a "void" made by activating both absorbing markings in the users hand at the same time and opposing them to each other, which creates this effect. This technique is essentially a more advanced and powerful version of Dark Release: Inhaling Maw and enables the user to absorb higher ranked techniques. However, when used, the user needs to wait one turn to use Dark Release absorption related techniques.

Description:

To do this, the user releases chakra from the markings in both his hands.

(Meiton: Chō Kasseiken) - Dark Release: Super Revival Fist

Description: This jutsu works in similar fashion to rasengan. By releasing and gathering dark chakra into one of the users hands, the user can create a dark orb with two dark rings around it (giving an atomic look). The user will then plow the orb into the opponent, resulting in the opponent being with tremendous bone shattering force.

Meiton: Kyūkyoku no Kyūketsukō) Dark Release: Ultimate Inhaling Maw

A technique used in reaction to an attack, where one will clap hands together, and then separate them. This create a small dark sphere, which siphons an opponent's techniques, and draws it into the void, and is achieved through the activation of both absorption markings on the hand. This is localized, and has the same problems as I stated before, its too close to home. So close to me before things get absorbed. However, due to its rank, its capable of drawing in quite a large amount of techniques and attacks, making it useful in the long run. Best to use when an energy based element comes towards me really fast.​

(Meiton: Kyūkyoku no Jajjimento) - Dark Release: Ultimate Judgment

Chakra that has been absorbed from Inhaling Maw or Ultimate Inhaling Maw, which is then unleashed in a light blue flame form. This burns the opponent, and is released from both hands. A pretty useful technique, due to its range and what is capable of harming, like for example, the insides of the opponent. Like the previous release types, requires absorption to have occurred right before it. Nonetheless, I'd use this often though, its pretty strong.​

(Meiton: Chō Kasseiken) - Dark Release: Super Revival Fist

Similar to how Rasengan works, one will gather a large amount of Dark chakra into a hand, and create an orb with two rings around it. This is then blasted into the opponent, sending them back with great power. Can only be used after a technique has been absorbed. A nice close range technique, but not one I'd use, personally. I bet it looks cool, but its pretty limited in ability, in relation to the other canons.​
