It depends on people.
In communism there is only one guy who screws you as a whole.There can be only one *******.That is the government.
In democracy multiple people will screw you.People with authority,people with money,people with influence and people with knowledge,lawyers,law etc.
Communism works great in china but not in NK.
Democracy works great in US but it is like a curse in 3rd world.People with power abuse it or people scam the schemes and the guy who complaints becomes culprit,countries become economic dictatorships and poor stay poor.Most of the time people have to fight to fix the system rather than working in it but you cant raise your voice at all in communist nations.
