Delta search virus

Has hijacked my pc. I use chrome, and every time i open a new tab, the delta search search engine opens. Its probably a virus, any ideas how to remove this malicious engine?

Go to your settings, and under search you can delete it. If you think there's a virus just run a virus scan on your computer.

click start then click ''set program access and defaults'' go to change or remove programs wait a sec then a list will load showing everything installed, scroll till you find delta, click it and click again this time to the remove selection it will show

Already tried that, i removed it from the add/remove program option in the control panel. Its still showing in the new tab.

On Chrome, go to Settings > On startup > Open the New Tab page. Also, on the left side, above Settings click Extensions and if it's in Extensions as well, delete it. Happened to me.
